Celebrities : My Date With Celine Dion
Yesterday morning I was working when suddenly I received a text message from a friend. ” Hi Honey, how are you? What are you doing today at 3pm? I’d like to tell you something concerning your idol” …He knows I LOVE Celine and that I’ve been following her since I’m 4-5 years old.
So I started freaking out asking him to tell me what he knew and I was stressed a bit, wondering if something happened to her etc. So he said “Celine will be at Schwartz -her restaurant- at 3pm but it’s a secret, you can’t tell anyone!” My friend who owns a business right beside Celine’s restaurant got the scoop when Celine’s entourage contacted him to ask permission to use his parking space.
So I called my friend Bastien and asked him to stop working and come with me I told him ” It’s a lifetime chance, you need to come with me, I can’t tell you where, but it concerns Celine Dion”. So he picked me up and we went to the restaurant. We were hysterical in the lineup (there’s always a lineup at her restaurant). 30 minutes later, we got inside, we were here to stay, trust me. We took our time to eat, so much that our food went cold, Celine was late. We ordered a coffee, then a refill… I was getting impatient, I didn’t want to leave and the waiter brought our bill.
Celine showed up, FINALLY! The whole restaurant went crazy! Staff, clients, few fans, everyone! I was shaking, I couldn’t believe it, my jaw dropped to the floor, for real. Celine said “Bonjour tout le monde!” which means “Hi everyone!” in french. She started shaking hands and taking selfies with everyone. People were crying, no one couldn’t believe it. The most popular singer of all time was in the same room as us. It’s insane! She did a little tour of the restaurant making sure everyone had a photo, an autograph and then she sat beside me, on the stool that the restaurant’s manager kept for her. I was shaking like a leaf and smiling like a kid on Christmas Day.
Then she decided that she wanted to talk to the whole group and start climbing on the stool, I helped her out, I told her to hold my shoulder and I was holding her legs because the stool was moving, I didn’t want her to fall. She finally ended up on the counter and thanked us all for coming and offered to pay the food to everyone.
I can now “check” that in my dream’s list! I’m 34 and have been dreaming of this for over 25 years and it happened. I still can’t believe it. Check out few photos and video below, and follow me on instagram, I will post more today @DavLesage.
Celine is genuine and real. Her life events over the last few years had me engaged as if she were my best friend. She is a gift for the world to be sure! Glad you had this experience, there are no coincidences. Love & Light

I’m not a fan nor crazy about her music, but I’ve only heard positive things about her towards her fans, how she’s very friendly and doesn’t think she’s too good to stop and and sign autographs, unlike a lot in Hollywood who forget that if it weren’t for the fans they would be a no body.
I like her . Most popular of all time ? Maybe you were confusing her with Streisand.

Can’t say I’m a fan, but I’m also not a hater, she is definitely very talented. I’m very glad to not only hear that you got to meet your favorite performer, but also that she is such a thoughtful, gracious, generous, and down to earth person. It seems a lot of the time that celebrities, that have been famous as long as she has, get irritated when they get engaged by the public, it’s one of the less enjoyable(for a lot of them) features that comes with fame, if you don’t want to deal with it then don’t become famous. She sounds like a real sweetheart and I’m glad she was able to make you day.
She made my week, I’m still on a cloud!
