Looking the Movie2

Movie : “Looking” at HBO

“Sometimes the end is a new beginning.”

Fans of Looking, HBO’s TV series about three tight-knit friends Patrick Murray, Dom Basaluzzo, and Agustin Lanuez can now get closure after the series abruptly ended in March 22, 2015 with just two seasons.

Looking is HBO’s multi-awarded first gay show about the aforementioned men’s daily lives and their respective relationships and romantic entanglements, family, and careers in modern-day San Francisco. The show was purportedly cancelled due to poor ratings but Looking gained a strong following and said loyal fans understandably got disappointed at the unexpected turn of events.

After over a year of waiting, however, Looking: The Movie premiered last July 23rd to the absolute delight of the fans. The movie is available until August 20, 2016 and you may check the detailed viewing schedule here.

The trailer of the eighty five-minute finale revealed that Patrick is back in San Francisco after moving away to Colorado for a wedding. He was seen hanging out with his friends like the good old days.

At some point in the trailer, Raúl tells Patrick, “Sometimes you’ve got to leave things behind so you can move forward.”

Do you agree?

I didn’t even bother buying the second season since it didn’t get a blu-ray release.

Dam, I really love this show and I’m suppose that it got cancelled due to poor ratings. I shouldn’t be the only one that like this show.
