The Dieux du Stade calendar which features international athletes as well as Stade Français Paris’s hot French rugby players is here and its theme centers on… drumroll, please… Ancient Greece! Stade Français by the way is a famous French international rugby club.
For the 2019 edition of the calendar, the ruggers worked with the world-renowned prolific artist-photographer Ludovic Baron who is famous for his cinematographic approach to photography.
The players portrayed the ancient Greek gods and some of the athletes who appeared in this calendar included Clément Daguin (who played Eros, the god of Love) and Djibril Camara (who played Priapus—the god of fertility who is also said to be the protector of horticulture and viticulture and interestingly, of male genitalia). The 2019 calendar also featured Kylan Hamdaoui, Sofiane Guitoune, Thomas Combezou, Harvey Elms, Jean-Pascal Barraque, Julien Delbouis, Theo Richard, Xavier Mignot, Steeve Barry, Giovan Battista Venditti, Julien Ory, Bruce Devaux, Luke MacLean, and Arthur Bonneval who played the role of other Greek gods such as Hercules, Zeus, Atlas, and Hades to name a few.
Fans are in for a treat because their purchase comes with downloadable contents such as videos and unpublished photos from the making of this year’s Dieux du Stade calendar which is exclusive to buyers only.
