Music: Spice Girls Announce Reunion Tour!

If you’re a 90s kid, then this is exciting news for you. The Spice Girls are back and embarking on a summer reunion tour!

The iconic girl group made the announcement on both Twitter and Instagram. The band posted a mock breaking news video that showed the four of them behind news desks, purportedly to make an announcement. However, it quickly devolves into an argument when Geri arrives in an outfit that makes her stand out.

Watch the entire video below:

Victoria Beckham — known as Posh Spice — won’t be part of the tour, but has congratulated the group on her Instagram. On the post, she says that this was a special day for the girls as this is the first tour dates announced since the group performed at the 2012 London Olympics.

She goes on to talk about the importance of the Spice Girls in her life: “ I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.”

Victoria also called on the fans to express their support for the tour, saying “I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb #spicegirls #friendshipneverends”

Not excited about the Spice Girls at all. Don’t know anyone who is. An interest for 12 year old girls, their mothers (who were once 12) and the stereotypical gay crowd who emulate them. Enjoy!

I’m more excited about the Bohemian Rhapsody movie. Queen’s music is technology light-years ahead of what the spice Girls produce. How about some coverage of that movie?
