Watch This: Coyle Twins Come Out to Their Mom

(Photo Credits: Screengrab from Coyle Twins YouTube)

It’s LGBT Pride Month, guys. What better time to come out to parents than around this season, right? The Coyle twins—Cooper and Luc–did just that, come out to their mom, that is. What did you think her reaction was? We’ll let you know for yourselves as luckily the twins recorded their coming out conversation with her.

If you’re only hearing about the 19-year-old Coyle twins for the first time, Cooper and Luc are YouTubers and fashion photographers based in New York City. They take gorgeous photos which you can view in their joint Instagram account.

Did I mention we’re twins?

The Coyle twins said they watched plenty of coming out videos which inspired them and helped them, and “led them to this exact moment.” They hoped that by filming their coming out moment to their mom—that they will have done the same for others who are “going through the same thing.”

What about you, guys? Did you ever come out to your parents? And if so, how did they take it? Do you have any words of advice to readers out there who are thinking of coming out to their parents and family?

Meanwhile, American singer-songwriter Adam Lambert—who recently spent time with the teens at Mosaic LGBT Youth Centre—shared a piece of advice on coming out to family. Adam said, “I think the best way is to begin communicating, to talk about how it makes you feel. When you own how you are feeling to another person, it always seems to work better and connect deeper in that moment.”

Anyway, if you want more of the Coyle twins, you may check them out here and here. Don’t forget to follow Adam4Adam’s official Instagram account while you are at it.

They are so obviously gay what parent wouldn’t know?

My father was gay and got a little out of control so his father made him get married, but my father was always getting fucked by men and returning the favor.

He’s now married. My brother and I are both gay and we love spending time with dad and his husband.

My parents were not gay friendly, so I never planned to broach the subject. My father asked a direct question and I answered truthfully. That was 7 December 1979 and I was no longer welcome in the family. My father died in 1987, my mother in 1999. The death notices were published after the funerals had taken place so I could not read of them and attend.

I was invited neither to sister’s, nor nieces’, nor nephew’s weddings. Obviously no one from the family attended mine (they _were_ invited). To this day siblings and their spawn refuse contact with me.

Aunts, uncles, and assorted cousins are great and very welcoming. Those folk were all glad they got to visit with me — and my husband when he was alive — and not have to deal with the rest of my immediate family. I consider my father throwing my out was the nicest thing he ever did for me.

Mom would have had to been blind not to see or notice her twins were gay. From the amount of make up, to the frosted tips, to their mannerism, and everything else.

Absolutely gorgeous guys. It’s great that they “came out”, however…gaydar isn’t required to sense these twinks are gorgeous gay guys. I hope that they fine equally beautiful lesbians who would love to have a child….to keep these splendid genes ongoing.

Mom said “no surprise” and really did not care (in a good way). While this not always the case, it is very often the case with guys like these.

“You’re gay. Ok, hooray (since you seem to be asking for it). So what else is going on in your life?”

considering Mom probably spent much of their youth dousing them when they burst into flames i dont think this was anything more than a YouTube manufactured moment

I’ve actually had a threesome with twins who looked similar but were in their late 20’s, anyway congrats to them <3 Hope they find great guys to be with.
