Gay Stuff: Would You Get this Penile Girth Enhancement Procedure?
A few months back we talked about the latest trend among the gay men in North America that is the anal rejuvenation—a $5000 to $25000 cosmetic procedure that dilates or tightens the anus.
Fast forward to today, news report says this procedure called Penile Girth Enhancement is quickly gaining attention among men in Australia. The procedure is said to be new and non-surgical and the cost starts at $3000 up.
According to Dr. Sara Kotai, the medical director of the clinic that offers the procedure, Penile Girth Enhancement is “minimally invasive, and fully reversible, with minimal downtime so men can increase their girth in an hour without scalpels, stitches, general anesthetic or hospital stay.”
“Filler injections are used under the skin of the penis to instantly increase girth (it is placed between the layers of fascia),” Dr. Kotai was quoted as saying during an interview with news.com.au. The “filler” was hyaluronic acid which Dr. Kotai says are “the same fillers traditionally used in lips and cheeks.” She added, “It’s a soft gel-like substance that occurs naturally in the body.”
How does said clinic perform the procedure? Well, they use a blunt needle called “cannula,” to inject the hyaluronic acid “into the areolar tissue of the penis.” Such procedure could result to “an increase of the flaccid girth by 2-3cm, and erect girth by 1.0-2.5cm.” The effects are said to last for 18 to 24 months and clients can opt to do it again if they want to.
