News: Report Says Gay Teens Included in Chechnya Purge
The gay purge in Chechnya may have been overtaken in the news lately, but it doesn’t mean that the events there have gotten better over the past few months. Just last week, the Russian LGBT Network says it received more calls from Chechnya in the “last 72 hours”, and that they had credible evidence that arrests are happening again.
And now, Novaya Gazeta, the newspaper that first broke the news about the gay purge, has released the list of 27 names of men believed to have been shot to death around January of this year, with the youngest of them at 18-years-old. All 27 men were part of the men detained after Chechnya started its anti-gay purge in December 2016.
Before their murders, the 27 men probably underwent horrendous torture, as reports have said that the gay men detained during the purge were tortured using electric shocks, beaten to death, or were “forced to promise to leave” the Chechen Republic.
The list of names believed to have been killed in Chechnya’s gay purge are below, along with their birthdates and ages at the time of their death.

Last April, the Adam4Adam community raised $15,000 (20 000$ CAD) for the Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organization in Canada currently working hand-in-hand with the Russian LGBT Network to get the Chechen gay men to safety.

Couple things:
1) Chechnya is a Muslim majority country. Their president and almost all public officials are Muslim.
2) the Quran calls for the murder of gay people a couple different times.

Nowhere in this article did the author bother to attribute the slaughtering of these poor men to the true root of the problem: Islam. This constant pandering to, and excusing of, Islam needs to stop before it’s too late. Wake up, liberals.

I agree with Doug Nichols completely. We need to open our doors. I notice most of the ages, if not all, are AFTER the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989 — almost as if this is part of the war against the freedom that began with that. Every LGBT person in this nation has the responsibility to support our brothers and sisters who are facing persecution and death merely because they have a different sexual orientation. We need not only to be praying regularly for them, as I do believe in prayer, but financing the Rainbow RR in order to get these people to safety as soon as is possible. Our current government in the USA will be no help in bringing to bear any pressure on the Russians and their puppet governments to stop these horrible crimes against humanity as they are anti LGBT rights here as well…but that is what you get when you elect an ignorant celebrity to the White House.

I had a Russian kid trying through me to get out of there in May. I could not afford to give him the money he needed to help him. I hope he is alright. I have not heard from him since the Wednesday before he was to leave on Friday.
