Sports : Rugby Player Face Planted on Opponent’s Bare Butt

Rugby players have been caught in a compromising position in the middle of an intense game and a cringe-worthy photo had been snapped as proof of the unfortunate event.  Said photo has now been tweeted almost a couple of hundred times as of this writing and is quickly becoming the subject of international headlines.

The photo was of Australian professional rugby league footballer Brenko Lee who plays center and wing for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Corey Oates of the Brisbane Broncos.

The Bulldogs was having a tough game with the Broncos at the ANZ Stadium last week and—looking at the photos—it seemed to be raining, too, making their situation tougher. Apparently Lee tackled Oates but there was another teammate behind him who accidentally made for Oates’ uniform shorts causing for Oates’ butt to be exposed. During the trio’s struggle, Lee somehow face planted on his opponent’s butt.

Bulldogs won, by the way. The final score was 10 – 7 in favor of their team which goes to show we never really earn victories without having to work hard and sweat for it. And, going by the photo above with his teammates, Lee seem to be taking everything in stride which is good considering what happened was all in a day’s work and no one else’s fault.
