Entertainment : Lady Gaga’s Halftime Show

Lady Gaga Rocks NRG Stadium

Hi, guys! Did you watch Lady Gaga’s performance during the Super Bowl LI‘s halftime show? What did you think about it? I think she was incredible!

Lady Gaga appeared onstage flying from up the roof and the crowd just went wild (though they’d been screaming for her name long before her appearance to be honest with people calling for Gaga Time!). She was sporting an outrageous outfit that is so Gaga-esque while belting out the songs.

She had few costume changes and sang her fans’ most loved songs such as Born This Way, Telephone, Just Dance, Million Reasons, Bad Romance, and Poker Face. Some of my favorite parts of hers was when she sang God Bless America wearing that lovely sequined silver outfit and Million Reasons with the fans waving lights but the best part was when she sang Born This Way, such an appropriate song for the actual climate in the USA :

“No matter gay, straight or bi
Lesbian, transgendered life
I’m on the right track, baby
I was born to survive

No matter black, white or beige
Chola or orient made
I’m on the right track, baby
I was born to be brave”

A few days ago, Lady Gaga was quoted as saying during the Super Bowl LI press conference, “The only statements I’ll be making during the halftime show are the ones that I have been consistently making throughout my career. I believe in a passion for inclusion. I believe in the spirit of equality and the spirit of this country as one of love and compassion and kindness” and that her performance will uphold those philosophies.”

Indeed, Lady Gaga made true of that promise and sang for everyone, no exceptions.

Super Bowl LI is currently underway at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas this Sunday, February 5, 2017 with the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons playing against each other. Good luck, boys!

Lady Gaga also sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl last year. Watch it here. Luke Bryan on the other hand, sang the National Anthem this year.

What did you think about Lady Gaga’s performance, guys? Would you consider it as one of the best halftime shows ever? What was your favorite costume that she wore and what was your favorite song from her set list?

Most of all, what did you think about the message she imparted through her halftime show? Share with us your thoughts below and watch the halftime show below!

I’m all for inclusion. Other than those from Muslim countries that hate Infidels, non-believers like myself. I don’t need to include people into my country that want to kill me, just because I don’t believe in their Allah or Muhammad. Why is now bad to hate my own country enough to let in anyone and everyone? What happens when my money runs out, and I can’t help the poor that have lived in America for decades? Do I work more hours, in order to give more money? Do I leave to make room for others that just want to break the law? Are there that many haters on ADAM4ADAM that only want inclusion and no control over the border? Oh, ok. Let’s open every crack in every foot of every inch of land in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Let’s have every Canadian that wants to, come down to live with us. Let’s be one big 20 billion person country!!! Obviously, life for you folks that want this must be so shaded that you don’t care if you’re living in total chaos. I’m a fag. I love this country. But I believe in limits. If these people are so desperate to takeover America, why aren’t they able to stay home and fix their own country? And when you see these tear-jerker commercials for illegal immigrants sneaking into America, why don’t they show the SINGLE MEN that are doing this A LOT more than any family?
Yeah, that’s right, the sympathy card! You see a family, you’ll cry and let them in, and hate anyone that understands the real truth. I’m a fag, but I’m not an idiot. I wish you folks weren’t too.

It’s great to hear your opinion on that. Finally someone that tells it like it is. Not all people should be required to agree with celebrities & news media that think their way is the only way. Guess what Hollywood, we voted for the current president and he’s going to do a great job! Get over it!

Loved it! This was one of my favorite half-time shows of all time. Didn’t care for her opening outfit, but the rest made her look fit and sexier. Poker Face was my favorite song.

I absolutely LOVED it!!! From beginning to end, Gaga put on an amazing show. She did not get “political” in her performance and kept it entertaining.

  4. Vince

Overall I liked it.. I give it a 6.5-7/10. I was kind of hoping for more pizzazz or crowd involvement like when Beyonce performed. Not comparing the two or anything, was just hoping for the “wow factor” or something. But overall it was enjoyable.

would be great to watch it again but can’t since the video has been pulled from this site due to copyright crap….. Oh well….

  6. Vinny

She was fine she was up in air on cables an her voice sound amazing, but once she took the cables off an hit the stage it seem like an typical concert an she had no guest singer’s with her.

personally, why we make super bowl a big deal ? its a regular football game and one team has to win and half time show is kind of advertisement of that singer and for gaga yesterday ….
anyway ,we have lot of things to think about our great nation instead of super bowl .
we should focus on strong border security, airport security, refugees, isis, and economy and lot of challenges were facing ……
lets all hand to hand help and respect our government and make America great and safe again
all this safety for us Americans

Uh is that not what is ALL OVER THE FUCKING NEWS INTENET . Problem is that half the country voted for this Narrcistic Douche who I’m really finding is …his main ploy is to be on camera and heard somewhat and somehow . Hence all his twitter rants , so Od rather enjoy Gaga Amd she was Fucking Amazing !

  8. Gee

She was totally awesome! I was hoping she would NOT use the platform to get political and she started with some patriotic songs on the roof and continued being Fabulous Gaga! A magnificent show….Loved it!!!!

  9. Austin

i am a fan but aside from the drop and the drones. Katy Perry did a much better Awesome show
as far as the glitz was concerned. Gaga is truly a fantastic performer but for show stopping
theatrics Perry was over the top riding in on that mechanical Tiger. The truth be known..
she meaning Gaga taped the jump a week earlier and actually just dropped about 20 feet into a
pit of cushions, that part was filmed. Then as the audience on tv watched it appeared that she
dropped totally but in reality she was hanging just below the roof line inside the stadium and
then just lowered down. TV at its finest…however it still was great fun to watch. I know cause
    i was there

I thought it was Amazing . And seriously if you called her anything less than she is . You’re not a fan and that’s ok . But she is incredible . Very talented great performer ,Beautiful and she is one of the greats

In times where the country is extremely divided and feels like it’s slowly taking a rewind effect with the lame ‘religious freedom’ act, I’m glad Gaga actually represents actual Americans from 2017, every body diverse and yes, in much need of unity as a country right now. Cause it’s going to be the toughest 4 years ahead of us.

In a way it was a ‘protest’, but it was a peaceful one with a universal message.
She also broke the stereotype that leftist aren’t patriotic, I am sick to deaf when the right accuses us of such things.

Anyways always been proud of Gaga, and yes baby, we are born this way!

I can’t imagine taking anything Stephanie says seriously. She should stick with the singing and leave the political commentary to those who didn’t spend half their 20s snorting the white stuff. This message of inclusion at the cost of the safety of Americans is sickening.
