Homophobia : Gay Man Attacked at Halloween Jane Hotel Party
Costumed party-goers get caught on cam beating up a gay guy, NYPD are now investigating
Halloween was supposed to be a fun, safe event for everyone, no matter what sex or gender orientation. But on the weekend, the Sunday before Halloween, October 30 at 1 am, costumed party-goers, sadly, were caught beating up a gay man on a boutique hotel surveillance camera.
The attack happened in downtown New York, at the venue of a West Village hotel event called “Halloween at the Jane Hotel Ballroom Party”, located on Jane Street.
Authorities said 7 suspects were seen hanging around the hallway of Jane Hotel just before the said 1 am assault.
Police said the 26 year old gay victim stood by the elevator, focusing on his cell phone, when the group started to harass him.
Sources say the victim was thrown anti-gay slurs, with the victim also reporting he heard one of the group’s men yell, “Hey I am talking to you, hey you, f—-t”. He then felt a fist hit him hard in the forehead.
The gay man fell to the ground before he felt another individual kick him in the face. He was kicked and punched several times more before the suspects finally fled, reports say.
After the incident, the victim flagged a taxi to be taken to the Mount Sinai Hospital for some treatment. He suffered a laceration wound to his forehead to which he received six stitches. He also received one staple to close the cut he received on the side of his face.
The suspects were described as five males with two females, about 20 to 30 years old of age.

that was horrible! well guess what, if they ever get caught, get thrown in jail, they’ll be having a lot of gay sex if they want to or not! Hopefully they will get beat or worse.
I am not a violent person, but I do believe in karma and it’s gonna get to them sooner or later.

Karma is a bitch and I hope they get what they deserve! Death sounds good to me & before anyone hates I am a proud gay man who was drugged & raped & became HIV + so now I stay away from any social situations where things like that may occur! I have had tons of therapy but still hate to leave the house!
