News : Anti-LGBT Pastor Charged with Child Molestation
Kenneth Adkins—the Brunswick, Georgia pastor best known for his hateful tweet which he posted two days after the mass shooting in Pulse last June—was arrested on child molestation charges made by a former member of his congregation.
Adkins, 56, was booked on Glynn County Jail Friday morning on one count of child molestation and one count of aggravated child molestation.
According to Stacy Carson, special agent in charge of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Kingsland office, District Attorney Jackie Johnson asked the GBI on August 12 for assistance on the investigation of suspected molestation. The concerted efforts with the Brunswick Police Department focused on the investigation of the alleged incidents that occurred in 2010 on several locations in the Brunswick area such as Adkins’ church, a vehicle, and the victim’s home.
The pastor runs churches in Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Brunswick, Ga. He is also a staunch opponent on the expansion of Jacksonville’s anti-discrimination law that seeks to include protection of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.
His tweet said: “Been through so much with these Jacksonville Homosexuals that I don’t see none of them as victims. I see them as getting what they deserve!!”
He later released a statement explaining that his tweet had nothing to do with the Orlando shooting and that he was referring to the people in Jacksonville, Florida pushing for LGBT’s inclusion on the anti-discrimination laws.
But the controversial tweet that earned the ire of the netizens was just one of the many other inflammatory tweets he posted following the attack in Orlando. See some of them below.
“Dear Gays, Go sit down somewhere. I know y’all want some special attention; yall are Sinners who need Jesus. This was an attack on America.”
“The Orlando Massacre was done by a Muslim on Americans. Plain and Simple. Christians did not cause this!”
“Homosexuals, don’t use the Muslim terrorist action in Orlando as an opportunity to beat down Christians or the Church. We are all Americans.”
“You all can tag anybody you want, it still does not change the fact that Christians DID NOT KILL THE AMERICANS IN ORLANDO. A MUSLIM DID!”
” It is a shame that Jax Gays are trying to use the Orlando Massacre as Blackmail to force the City to pass The HRO! Shame, Shame, Shame!”
Needless to say, his tweets are now protected.
I sincerely hope that Mr. Adkins gets what he deserves. And my advice to him? Don’t drop the soap in jail!!!!

Some straights want to be worried that some trans person using the men’s or women’s restroom will leave their kids to be touched inappropriately by them but once again it’s the straight, homophobic, religious bigots who take the limelight for that. My main concern is the kid or kids that creep molested. My prayers goes out to the kids and the family of the kids. I got 3 males cousins who were molested by relatives when they were younger. All three minds are all messed up, all three bisexual, are in fucked up marriages and they all have suffering kids in the mix….. He the molester will get exactly what he deserves. Its pretty much a waste of breath to try and argue with some Nigerian netizens that Paedophilia and Homosexuality are entirely different things ELSE I’d be gloating over this news. Good thing he got caught.
What’s sad about this predator is the fact that he yell and screams about Sin, then commits a very serious Sin against the least of these, Children. At this point he will have to answer for his actions, not only within the Justice System, the Court of Public Opinon, and finally, the Pineal System. They will love him in Prison. All child molesters are reprehensible regardless of what their other beliefs are. The man is a hypocrite for calling people sinners while committing violence on children, but all child molesters are hypocrites. Is he somehow more reprehensible because he molested children AND based gays? Nope. Reprehensible is reprehensible. Were it not for his anti-LGBT tweets, this post would have never appeared on A4A, thus the story is being used to generate blog traffic.

what goes around comes around, he will get what he deserves, the inmates don’t like child molesters. The odds are if he abused 1 child chances are there is more out there we dont know about yet that will come to light when the courts are done with him, the inmates will deal him a much harsher punishment
