I’m writting a little post today to ask you for suggestions. Is there any subjects, categories, themes that you would like me to cover in 2016?
In 6 years, I covered a lot, but I’m sure there are things you would like me to blog about or questions you would like to ask to other gay guys.
Whether you are questioning about relationships, gay life, want to read reviews on sex toys available on our store, want to read more erotic stories, want to have others opinion on open relationships, sex life, or even talk about job, family, music, etc etc….

Hope your Monday is going well. My friend I really enjoy reading your blog and sometimes I comment. Here’s my suggestion and I hope not to offend anyone and I’m definitely not making a accusation. I am african – American and I’d like to see more pictures of people my color in your blog. This was a big subject with the Oscar nominations recently. Please sir could you research a little deeper and find pictures of African American to illustrate some of your stores. Please don’t get defensive because I do see pics of blacks in your best looking ass contest and best looking cock contest. Living in a diversified country in the year 2016 its a shame this subject has to be brought up. No way would white people understand my concern but I’m asking you to try to be understanding to my concern. I growed up in the 1960 and 70s. I as a boy watched “family affair, andy Griffin, leave it to beaver, dennis the menace, father knows best, petticoat junction, doris day, etc. I really enjoyed those wonderful shows. In closing if possible could you please try to find more blacks as illustrations in your blog. Thanks.

I suggest that since the people are wanting the media to stop white washing thing, I want this website to do the same. I see post about when Madonna or Katy perry drops an album or song. Not when Drake drops an album, or jay Z donates to black lives matter campaign. Not too many black people posted for ‘Would You Do Him’. I just feel there are different kind of gays that has different views and like different things then other gays. But most post I see is focused towards the white gays. I don’t think that’s fair.
Maeve : would you like to contribute to posting such blog posts? I am a french Canadian white guy, so I don’t know much about the black culture, but if you want, you can certainly collaborate, that would be amazing. A4A blog is the community blog and we like when members collaborate. Let me know

How about people that talk about events for all, but when it comes to it, only are looking for a very specific group.
How about a discussion about sex and sexuality after certain types of surgery. Any time working around the two main areas of sexual stimulation in gay men there are often times complications that aren’t considered complications in the straight community. As an example I have always loved bottoming. However, after having a hemorrhoidectomy things are awful tight. Discuss a patients new sexual reality. While I have been able to get back to being able to bottom it is still some what painful and extremely tight where once size wasn’t much of a concern, within reason…
It’ll be nice to if some of these blogs acknowledged that not all gays are the same. For example, I’m a young guy who is attracted to daddy types, yet the only models on these blogs are always young pretty boys since that is what a good portion of gays like. I honestly can’t remember you guys showing a model with gray hair, or who might be 10 lbs overweight. Stocky guys are hot too you know. Music is another thing, we always hear about Justin Bieber or lady gaga, but nothing on rock…..ever. Basically, it’ll be nice if you showed more diversity in your blogs.
I would like to see Adam4Adam have a way to post whats on your mind.

One subject I have not seen comment on is interaction between generations of Gay men. A lot of groundwork has been laid by a close, tight community that is dissappearing daily. The history will be gone. AIDS was taken on and pushed back by GLBTS community working together everday without devisiveness. That attitude needs to return for GAY to be everyday boring and safe.

I agree I think you have covered a lot. I see a lot of comments and posts, usually around race relations, transgendered, etc., that involves a lot of City folks. Some of us don’t live in the city and in some cases, >200 miles. There is a rural gay/bi America that “might” have 4-5 guys in the area. I’m not sure what the premise of the conversation could be other than the trial and tribulations secluded guys go through.
Also, I saw a bunch of porn stars talking about their real lives and how different it is from what they portray on the screen. I see Max Cameron is really a school teacher by day and porn star on the weekends; maybe reach out to these fellas and see who they are behind the curtain.

How about something on gay men who have had life altering surgeries? I have recently went through a liver transplant. Now I have to take anti rejection drugs to keep me from rejecting the new liver. I also have to take amuno surpressant drugs. Taking these medications are now a part of my new life. Taking these drugs also make it a lot easier to come down with colds, flus, and other illness’s! I have seen on online support groups others that have had transplants, and even though we as a gay community have gained a lot over the years, the common complaint I see is they don’t know how to approach their transplant team with questions about returning to sex safely after transplant. Just a thought.
Dave – can you, maybe, have a guest blogger such as a professional psychologist who can offer suggestions on how to combat loneliness and fear from an aging gay man’s perspective?

I grew up in LGBT community that welcomed all.My first time in a gay bar at 15 years old I was received by gay men, women and transgendered with open arms. I felt accepted and protected by MY PEOPLE, MY NEW FAMILY.
I have been the victim of hate crimes, disowned by my family and friends, fired from my job and arrested because
of my sexual orientation and survived the AIDS CRISIS. I buried most of my friends and feel the guilt and loneliness as a long term survivor.
I did not know that my journey was paving the way for generations to come and it appears we have a long way to go within our own community.
I would like to see adam4adam have a place to search by key words….such as a particular word, phrase, city (some small towns are not in your location search).

Just a comment about PrEP – it IS wonderful at preventing HIV transmission, but NOT other STDs. People need to be made aware of this….

It would be great to see a broader perspective when it comes to content. Gay guys are not only young, white and pretty. They listen to a broad range of music much of it far from divas and Sam Cooke. They dress is a wide range of clothing styles some of which does not come off the fashion runways of Europe. Some are wide open about their sexuality while others keep it more personal. Some are loud, proud, and militant, while others go about their lives with their sexuality being secondary to the rest of who they are.
