Merry Christmas from Adam4Adam

It’s Christmas Day! And yes, it’s that time of year again when we can’t help but think how time flies so fast.

It’s that time of year when Christmas spirit fills the air and simply playing Christmas carols spread cheer. However, because of the festive spirit, some of us can’t help but remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. Others, on the other hand, take this time to reflect and evaluate the events of our life this year and make plans, set new goals and resolutions even, for the coming year.

Unfortunately, this holiday season can also be a lonely time for some members of the LGBT community who were estranged from their family because of their sexuality. But, it can also be a good time to build new Christmas traditions whether with friends or alone and make our holiday season memorable. We can send Christmas cards to strangers who feel lonely and alone at this time, we can gift our time and services to our local LGBT community center for free, maybe host a Christmas party for friends, or simply eat our home cooked Christmas dinner while watching a Christmas-themed movie marathon.

What about you, what are your plans for today? What Christmas tradition do you follow and what’s your favorite thing about Christmas?

Lastly, on behalf of the Adam4Adam family, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, may your holiday season be filled with love and warmth. In addition, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for being loyal to us since 2003.

Merry Christmas and all the best to you and your loved ones!

To all of my Gay Brothers: including, Ranttrap & Hunter?

Enjoy Christmas Day and make it what you will?

And, to those of us, who served “in-country,” I wish you well and remember those who are resting, on their backs, wearing their ‘Dress Uniforms’.

I went to Arlington National Cemetery, right after Thanksgiving, and paid-my-respects. It was good to make peace and to show my love for those I knew and served…including, several of us…they all lay peacefully. I visited “The Major” who would have been 88; I am 72. I hope he knew I was there?

I went to The USMA, Section 34, and paid-my-respects. I walked to where they are…It gave me peace and made me feel wanted and needed.

I wish a Happy New Year to all, and to those who served…be proud and stand tall!

    Nathan

Thank you for your service, Nathan. Arlington National Cemetery is an amazing place. It truly shows the magnitude of US efforts to bring peace to globe over the decades.

A visit to the District of Columbia should be on everyone’s bucket list. We forget in the midst of polarized politics, political hate, and Party power-grabbing what the basic ideals of the Founding Fathers were and what we should stand for as a country. Each monument and memorial tells part of the story. The national museums are stunning.

          Hello Nathan,
A friend just wrote me and suggested that you were writing to me, Hunter4B, I wrote you back in October 16, 2018, the blog about weirdest hookups, and you talked about your Major and your sacrifice and your undying bond! Your painful wait has been far longer than my lifetime, but your classy posts, and positivity here, give me hope for our community. I respect you, as I do my father, not just for your service but for the respect you have earned by a life well lived!

            Hello, Hunter:

I just read your comments and they are appreciated. I wrote on the blog about “Stonewall” and it should be posted by Dave tomorrow?

Thank you for your Christmas message to us all Nathan, and thank you for being the constant reminder to respect all our brothers-in-arms! I have been away, and I am leaving again soon, so I will simply repeat my message to you on American Thanksgiving, November 22 blog (What Are You Thankful For?) I cannot say it clearer … “IT IS AN HONOR TO BE YOUR BROTHER”
