Party: Six Best Gay Halloween Costume Ideas

(Photo Credits: MEN – Save 50% Today)

It is Halloween season again, our dear Adam4Adam blog readers! Which means the time of year has arrived when we have a good excuse to show up at a party all dressed up as someone else but there’s a dilemma that comes with it: do we go scary or sexy?

No problemo, we are here to help you! We’ve gathered some awesome Halloween costume ideas for you to consider, it’s a mix of the old, the new, the creative, and our all-time favorites. Check them out below.

  1. Calaveras or Day of the Dead Mexican Sugar Skull. Seems a bit tricky to pull off, yes? But we love this because both the makeup and the costume are stylish and elaborate. Thankfully, there are a lot of tutorials on YouTube and if you have an insanely talented makeup artist for a friend then maybe he or she can help you recreate this one.

  1. Hugh Hefner and his bunnies. If you decided to go sexy and you are attending the party with your friends then this is the way to go.

  1. Angel and Devil. If you decided to go a little naughty and nice with your partner or friend, these Heaven and Hell classic Halloween costumes are your best choice; don’t you think so, too?

    1. The Shining’s Grady Twins. Go spooky with Stephen King’s Grady twins from the film The Shining (1980, Stanley Kubrick). Let’s admit it; just the thought of the twins gives us the creeps so this costume will definitely do the trick.

  1. Superheroes and Supervillains. Of course, the party isn’t complete without our superheroes and supervillains. Who’s your favorite among the 2018 superhero movies? Ours are Aquaman, Venom, and Black Panther. Go sexy with Aquaman while Venom’s costume shown below is undoubtedly amazing and Black Panther’s suit is sleek and impressive.

I like photo #3, labeled “handyman”. The one with the guys wearing the bunny ears. Imagine going around the neighborhood, playing trick or treat! Well, might get arrested, but also might attract some hot gay guys instead. The one with the 2 guys dressed as girls, reminds me of the twins girls in the movie “The Shining”. That would be a good idea even if you weren’t gay.

As embarrassed as I am to reveal this, I shall!

In 1965, my sister, her friend and I went to a Halloween Party dressed as The Supremes. I do not remember if any one of us associated with the names of Diana, Mary and Flo?

We wore plastic wigs; handmade dresses and heels…where I was the only one who could and did walk in them without wobbling or eventually tripping.

Each of us bore an individual Supremes’ album: I bore “Where Did Our Love Go”; my sister bore “More Hits By The Supremes and my sister’s friend bore “Meet The Supremes”.

We strutted down the main street; crossed it, and proceeded to the grammar school…knowing that we were supremely costumed!

What everyone else thought…particularly, about me, at 12, wearing a dress, wig, heels and baring a Supremes’ Album, I never knew?

Such are my memories of one incident of my glorious childhood!

Angels and devils? Hugh and Bunnies? How stereotypical can you get? In fact, any costume that requires being half naked is completely not original in the gay community. What happened to actual scary costumes that take thought and effort? Everyone just throws on some sparkly underwear and boots with body glitter and calls it a costume? These queens look like that every other weekend of the year, what’s new?
