Allow me to ask this: why the ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ routine? Gay males are not husbands or wifes; we are males who choose to partner with other males. Why do we have to correspond to Hetero Nomenclature?
Straight marriages are ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ not gay marriages. Is it any wonder why most Heteros consider us faeries and queens? We bring it upon ourselves.
