Watch This: Penis Seen From Space

A giant penis has captured the attention of the netizens and no, it is not a prank.

How big is this penis you ask, for it to garner attention on social media? Well, for starters it’s not really what you think. The penis in question, now called online as the “Aussie Weiner,” is merely a drawing carved on a dry lake bed in the south west of Australia in Geelong by a very patient and rather talented but anonymous artist. I say “merely” but it’s so big that it can be seen from space; in fact Google Maps caught a satellite image of it.

If you’re curious about how big it is, one website said the image is 50m long (164ft) which means it is as tall as The Cairo (14 floors), Capitol Place (12 floors), and 1101 New York Avenue (12 floors) all of which are located in Washington, DC.

This story first appeared on a Facebook page called Take the Piss Geelong. The admin of the page jokingly said that because of this, Geelong may now be very well known as “The Cock and Balls capital of Australia.” The amused netizens on the other hand, are describing Aussie Weiner as a pair of “sad eyes with a long nose,” a “pen with two heads,” and “the Eighth Wonder of the World” to name a few.

If there’s anything this story proves though, it’s that people really are fascinated by the penis so much so that we create penis parks such as the one found in South Korea. And hey, who can forget about that giant penis spotted over Okanogan skies last year?
