Sexuality: How To Pick The Right Condom
PrEP may be changing the way we think about safe sex, but for now, condoms are still essential a conscientious gay man’s sex life. It’s always a good idea to have one handy, especially if you’re expecting a hook up.
But if you’re new to all of this or just haven’t found a condom that’s the right fit for you, there’s no need to worry. We’ve got a few tips and tricks for you here at Adam4Adam so you find just the right condom for you.
Be honest about your size
Honesty is the best policy when it comes to condoms. Condoms come in different sizes and getting one too small can be really uncomfortable, while getting one too big can be dangerous. If you’ve got your size down, here’s what most condom sizes are:
Magnum XL: 8.37 inches long and 2 inches wide
Magnum: 8.12 inches long and 2.12 inches wide
Trojan ENZ: 7.62 inches long and 2 inches wide
Lifestyles Ultra Lubricated: 7.87 inches long and 1.9 inches wide
You can find the rest of the condom sizes here. You can also buy a hundred pack of Lifestyles Ultra Lubricated at the Adam4Adam Store
Know what a properly fitting condom feels like
If you’ve picked the condom that’s the right size for you, it’s going to feel snug but not too tight. You also know that a condom is the right fit for you if it rolls all the way down the shaft.
Of course, you’re going to have to test out a couple of different styles and types to actually know what that feeling is like. Buy a sampling of them from the Adam4Adam Store and find out which is the best fit for you. Note: Do this when you masturbate and not with a partner!
There’s no “one size fits all” condom
When you’re going out there to have sex, it’s best to already know the brand that fits you best. But if someone’s coming over and you don’t know if they’re bringing protection, it’s always a good idea to have a good selection of different sizes and styles at your house.
Don’t be pressured to wear Magnums
Unless you’re going out with a size queen, you shouldn’t worry about being judged for not wearing a Magnum. It’s best to know what your partner is into beforehand, because you shouldn’t be shamed for your condom size or preference.

Magnums. End of story. They don’t pinch and you can go hard in a guy’s ass without them breaking. Everything else breaks if you fuck too hard. I’ve tried them all.
What ones help you stay hard? When I put one on I go soft
Mags Xl
Skyn brand (especially the Elite version) condoms are the most comfortable I’ve ever used. They’re made of polyisoprene, a synthetic latex. The first time I bottomed with a top using a skyn elite I had to check it was still there. The regular version is almost as good. The skyn large size is also plenty big (not as large as magnums but have much more elasticity) and feel much better than natural rubber latex.
What are these condoms that you speak of?
I certainly hope you are kidding because in this day and age with rampant diseases caused from unprotected sex if you don’t know what condoms are you could be dead soon.
I think (I hope) he means what brand. I’ve not heard of them either.
