News : Former State Senator Ralph Shortey Scandal Revealed

“I’m gonna fuck you like a good little boy if you keep calling me daddy.”

This was one of the text messages sent by former Oklahoma State Senator Ralph Shortey to a teen he met via Craigslist and allegedly offered money in exchange for “sexual stuff.” The complete detail of the scandal that went down on Super 8 motel at 1520 N. Service Rd. in Moore, Oklahoma is described in an affidavit including their sexually explicit text exchange which you can read here.

The Moore Police—responding to a welfare call made by the teen’s father shortly before 1 a.m. on Thursday, March 9—found Shortey in a motel room that smelled of marijuana with a 17-year-old teen. An empty green plastic container was found in the scene labeled, “Colorado Retail Marijuana.” A box of opened condoms was also found in his backpack.

Shortey has since then been charged by the Oklahoma prosecutors with engaging in child prostitution, engaging in prostitution within 1,000 feet of a church, and transporting a minor for prostitution/lewdness.

On March 22, Shortey resigned from his office, six days after being charged. He released a statement saying that his resignation is “evidence of my respect for public service and the duties of our elected officials. I ask respect for the privacy of my family — my wife and four daughters — as I defend myself of these charges.”

Shortey served as a county coordinator for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in Oklahoma. The 35-year-old is, according to The Oklahoman, known for filing bills that “often drew national attention and, at times, national ridicule.”

The Associated Press reported that Shortey “routinely voted with his Republican colleagues on bills targeting gay and transgender people, including a measure passed earlier this year that would allow business owners to discriminate against gay people.” He is also known for “pushing bills targeting those living in the country illegally and expanding gun rights.”

As soon as i read the headline I thought it was most likely a family values preaching Republican that was involved. Both parties have issues but when you preach to everyone about god and family and then they are usually involve in stuff like this

“He is also known for “pushing bills targeting those living in the country illegally..,”

The guy is a total nutjob. It’s shocking that anyone would even think about going after criminals.

Exactly ! Do people not know the meaning of the word “illegal” ? They are breaking the law by being here without registering as a citizen. How difficult is that to understand?

To sum it all up, I’m not surprised. Isn’t it these kinda people who tend to do things like this? Normally a republican male and normally one who has a track record of being antigay. Sad thing is, he is going to give it his all to prove his innocence and that he’s not gay. Don’t know any straight man who would tell a gay 17 year old that he want his cum in his boy pussy. Anyways, I hope he rots in media hell for this.

this happens so often it almost isn’t news anymore.

is shortey the one who sponsored the bill saying that a woman would have to have written permission from a male to have an abortion?

If these sickening acts were perpetrated by a Democrat, then nothing would ever be reported. Why is it so important to the story that this monster was a Republican? JUST ASKING A QUESTION!!!

Because republicans are the one preaching family values and trying to discriminate agsinst gay…. they’re idiots like you for asking such a dumb question

First off why are you hiding. Second because he hate gay people then he hide (Like you) behind a wife and kids to do shit like this.

Nigerians can be hypocrites, but what is this I am seeing about ‘prostitution within 1000m of a church’? I am amused. The things that prolly go on in the house over the church could be much worse than prostitution. Iranu!

I agree with HAMLOVER, the oddest and probably most disturbing part of this whole story is that he was charged with “engaging in prostitution within 1,000 feet of a church”. Are you fucking serious? That is a law? It isn’t enough that prostitution is illegal, but Jesus, Daddy and the spook, don’t you do it near our invisible sky daddy’s house or we’ll charge you with additional crimes!?! I can understand if the law was within a certain distance a school(especially during school days and school hours) or a place where children congregate, but a fucking church? This has to be one of the stupidest and most unconstitutional laws I have ever heard of. What if they were within 1000 feet of a synagog or mosque? Would he get this additional charge? My guess would be a resounding no. Because “Merica is a christshun nation”! These flag waiving, gun toting, bible thumping, mouth breathing, troglodytic, assholes need to join the rest of civilization in the 21st century and repeal this stupid, biased, UNCONSTITUTIONAL law.
