I had the pleasure of a short sit down chat with a new debuting model on Next Door Buddies, Ian Greene. What made you decide to get into gay porn?

A friend and I were at a party this summer and we were approached about doing porn.
I had submitted my pictures to a few sites hoping to get attention and then one thing led to another…

Did you friend get a callback?

Unfortunately, no. He didn’t.

What was it like when you got the first callback?

It was surreal. I was excited and nervous all at once. It was something I wanted and here it was in front of me.

When you did your first scene, was it what you expected?

It was and it wasn’t. A lot of studios are different in the way they film. Sometimes you are doing pictures first, other times it’s the f*cking first. It’s a balance and you learn how things work.

What was it like filming this scene with Paul?

It was great. We met for the first time face to face at the airport. We had been chatting over twitter for a while before our scene.

What is Paul like? He’s been in the industry for a while now, were you Star Struck?

He is a funny guy. He is very much to the point, and energetic. He is just an all-around lovely person.

Can you tell me anything about filming the scene, without giving away too much? Perhaps something from behind the scenes?

We were both drinking wine and for scene set up. If we had a blooper and had to redo something, we just sat patiently and continued to drink our wine. Keep in mind that the scene was about 5 to 6 hours for a full shoot. Nothing is perfect.
What was it like filming for Next Door Studios?

It was awesome. The director was structured and professional. It was a comfortable environment and would definitely do a scene with them again.

Do you identify as gay or straight? Are you presently in a relationship with anyone?

100% Gay. Right now I am single.

Were you to be in a relationship, or perhaps in the future, how would you explain to your boyfriend about the kind of work you do?

Honestly, I think I would probably only date in the industry. I think it would be easier to date someone who knows and understands the industry. It would be difficult to date someone who wasn’t already in it.

How so?

Right now, it is just what I think would be best for me!

What is your preference sexually? Bottom or Top?

Versatile, depends on the guy I am with really.

Getting back to industry does your family and friends know you perform in gay porn?

My close friends do, and they think it is a riot. I have told some of my close family members – but not everyone knows.

What keeps you grounded? How do you differentiate between Ian Greene and your true self?

My friends and family, as well as my full time job keep me grounded. My porn persona and my real self are two different people. Ian is more confident and brazen than me. I try to combine the two at times but it’s not always the case.

Have you ever been recognized?

One time in New York City, a friend and I were at a Beyoncé concert. We were heading to grab a drink before the concert started and someone came up to me and asked if I was “Ian Greene”. I said yes and we took a selfie together. I have also had people notice me and talk to me at my full time job, but this is here in Philadelphia.

What Porn Star would you want to do a scene with and why?

Sebastian Kross – he is hot. I love big muscles and tattoos. The scenes I’ve seen him in are just hot. I would bottom for him no questions asked.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Brazil. The men, the weather, the scenery – all incredibly beautiful.

Biggest misconception about you?

That I am a mean person, or a snob. I am really not mean. I promise. I am a mixture of a sweetheart and a goofball. I love to laugh, a bit of a prankster (depending on the person).

Finally, what do you do when you’re not working?

Now that winter season is coming, I plan on going snowboarding. Likely to Vermont with friends. I like to keep busy and hang out with my friends. Enjoy life.
