It seems like November is a month for marriage proposals. As we all know Ricky Martin’s gotten engaged recently. Apparently singer Jonathan Knight of New Kids on the Block proposed to his longtime partner Harley Rodriguez as well. He reportedly popped the question during a night time raft dinner with the super moon illuminating them and with the Zambezi River serving as the backdrop to their romantic evening. Then last Saturday Julian Clary married longtime partner Ian Mackley.
Clearly, love is in the air. In line with this we’ve gathered a few of our favorite marriage proposal videos.
- James Reese and Anthony Grillo in their “Morphinominal” proposal. Anthony popped the question in the middle of their Mighty Morphin Power Rangers video shoot. Watch the adorable couple below:
2. Anthony’s proposal is “Morphinominal” indeed! Do you agree?
Darell and Rechard got engaged in the middle of Times Square January 9 of this year. Darell shared their special moment on twitter last November 10 in the wake of presidential election to remind everyone that “love trumps hate.”

4. Mark’s surprise NYC flash-mob proposal to Yuval which we featured here. This simply never gets old. Let’s take a look back at their special moment.
5. Watch Ryan propose to Scott in this heartwarming video. The occasion involved rose petals, candles, photos, a dog, and family and friends. I can’t stop smiling. The couple has plenty of gorgeous photos together which you may check out here and here.
6. Benjamin McHardy’s proposal to long-term boyfriend Scott Goodhill during Kylie Minogue’s Aphrodite concert at Burswood Dome in Perth, Australia.

public marriage proposals…ugh. Please keep them to yourselves
I’ve never cared for PDA but more power to those that do. I also never cared about getting married. After three failed relationships, the last one being verbally & physically abusive. I’m done with love & emotion. Y’all can keep it. Love is for the foolish & the young. I am neither.
I second that…GRUMPY CAT.
Beautiful!
As much as I am happy for those couples who ARE getting married…you have to realize that there ARE those of us who are still struggling to find our mate. And showing everyone stupidly ridiculously happy couples is supposed to make everyone feel happy and warm and cuddly? Yes…but no…signed…bitter not bitter but kinda bitter…okay really bitter. Call me SuperBitter.
