How about a way to color code guys’ profiles? Like… a color for “I’ve contacted him, and he isn’t into me”. A color for “wants to talk more”, a color for “Do not contact him again”… that sort of thing…
Make it BlackBerry os10 compatible
Multiple categories of guys near you to look for,a way to list interests and find special interests,ability to send pics and maybe even video?
How about an app for Windows users? There’s another platform out here and we barely have anything.
Over the years I’ve amassed a grand total of two screen names, and the app makes it pretty difficult to sign off and on, whether under the same name or a different one. In addition, the app seems to take precedence over the site in terms of location, I don’t like that. In other words, if you fire up the app 20 miles from home and then sign onto the site at your house, it shows your next door neighbors as 20 miles away because that’s where your phone left it. Even if you sign off the app on your phone. In order to get the site to be accurate, you have to sign on with the app again WHERE YOU ARE NOW and then sign back off, and then the site will be accurate. This is cumbersome.
IN THE OPTION OR QUICK SEARCH AREA MAKE IT WHERE YOU CAN ONLY PULL UP CUT OR UNCUT .IF THAT’S WHAT YOU LIKE
It would be nice if a person is blocked they won’t be able to search you or know if you deleted your profile. Sort of like your profile doesn’t exist, this would be nice for people who have stalkers.
My suggestion would be something that appears to be discreet. Many of us have professional jobs and my secretary occasionally will pick up my phone to look for something for me. I do not want rumors in my office nor in my professional circle that I have an app on my phone to look for sex with men. Regardless of being out or in the closet, you are labeled as being sexually promiscuous and it has a negative effect on your professional career. For that reason I would only use an app that is discreet in appearance.
Lose the ‘delete trace’ option. If somebody is checking my profile six times a day, I want to know.
And I’d like my profile to not be visible to guys I’ve blocked.
Any way that blocked profiles can be completely omitted from the thumbnail pics instead of taking up space with an ‘X’d spot? I block guys I am totally not interested in as well as the offensive creepers. On my first page I have 6 blocked profiles taking up space.
While traveling how about an app for finding local gay/LGBT friendly bars and clubs
Would be nice that when I sign out that my profile would disappear..hours after signing off people that stay on site all day still hit me up and I get a barrage of email notices which can be very annoying
Please make it possible to log off on every page.
Ive had this issue alot.
Im talking to some one and then they give me there number. When i select the message they delete their profile and the message goes away. I missed alot of dates and hookups this way.
How about a geolocation for the nearest cruise spots?
A filter I can set once that I don’t have to constantly re-set every time I log in.
A feature that allows me as a host to turn off the telephones of my guests since nobody these days seems to understand that it is extremely rude to be on the telephone when you are in the company of others, particularly when you are cruising for someone hotter so that you can make up a pathetic transparent excuse to leave and go do the exact same thing at the next guy’s place.
NEW FUNCTIONS? Your app has never been fully functional on iOS or android. How bout get it working before you try to improve it??? Hell, the last time I used the Report Bug function, it wasn’t even working.
Re the current mobile app, to start, good job with making the text links and buttons large enough for human fingers. It’s amazing how so few sites of any kind neglect that aspect of UI.
There are, of course, a few things that need attention:
– when a new page finishes loading, it jumps to the top of that page – if I’m scrolling, I’m presumably doing it BY CHOICE… do not throw me back to the top of the page – if I want to go back up there, I will.
– the logout button should NOT be buried at the bottom of the My Account page (which btw is one exception where the links are teensy-tiny). In fact, the logout button should not be buried at all. I’m not your prisoner or your slave. If I want to sign out of the app, let me sign out of the damn app. Imagine if the exits to bars or department stores were hidden and you had to find them to leave.
– lastly, you basically have to hit each profile pic button at least twice to view the corresponding pic – it’s tiresome.
– oh, one more thing! Every once in a while I’ll accidentally hit the link for my designated location, which bumps me up to the broader level above. There’s way too many people populating the search at that broader level, so I want to restore that setting quickly. Quickly? Ha! Nice try. Please fix.
be nice if Windows phone users could use it too…(yeah, I know it sucks but it’s paid for and it works, most of the time)

More search options would be nice, and not just about sexual things. I can’t be around cigarette smoke for medical reasons, but I can’t search for only non-smokers on the app. Please think about that in the next redesign
The one thing that needs improvement is the GPS locating as it so often fails to reset when the user is on the go from place to place. As another poster commented you often need to log out then log back in to reset. There needs to be a location reset option. It would also be great to see an easier way to update and /or change primary and secondary photos whether on the mobile or not. I do like the ability to block users that fail to understand that no means no and not to contact me six more times over the next 24 hours. Another comment on the need for the app to be discreet resonates well and a way to scroll through nearby guys with a quick “panic” button that changes the screen to a game or something would be nice. Must say Adam is one of the best mobile cruise apps I have used….keep up the good work!
“request images tab” that way your images automatically unlock and theirs automatically unlock for 5 minuets after each user visits each others page you also cant block during that 5 minuets. it cuts down on a lotta BS and pic drama
I agree with one above that yu need to have an app which can be installed and the name/app info hidden or not the name or your app…. yeah closet and me….
I’m on Droid Maxx. Plenty happy with accessing the Standard PC version of A4A on it. No need for any changes as far as I’m concerned. Also, PLEASE keep the feature where your checking out a profile is not tracked. If I click on a profile and decided it to pursue the guy, he doesn’t need to know. Just as I don’t when a guy passes on me. Thanks.
How about an area for people looking for other people with specific fetishes? Wrestling, CD,etc?
Make a mandatory for guys to choose their role: Top, bottom, vers etc
Also a way to make it so for example, as a top I hate being messaged by other tops and vers tops. It would be ideal to block out these guys, because they are barking up the wrong tree
What really well pisses me off is you are chatting with a guy an moving closer to a hook up when out of the blues he send generous or $$$ I mean what the hell if he had escort account I would know up front what he wants. So I report the guy block him and sometimes his account is suspended what we need to is you get suspended your out an can not set up new account using same e mail address I mean at least guy will have to set up a new e mail account before setting up new profile. Not complaining just a pain in ass i guess

make it so that if you get a message you get an adjust like a blinking light or a message tab on the phones home screen, I’ve missed a lot of messages because I wasn’t actively looking at the app or site.
How about a way of searching for members based on the distance and their other attributes.
Make it easier to log out by putting a log out button on every page instead of hiding it at the bottom of the “My Account” page.
Improve the GPS location function. If I log on at home and get in my car and go some where, my location still shows me at home until I “stop sharing” my location and start “sharing” it again at the new location.
How about we don’t perpetuate sexual racism by disallowing a filter for ethnicities?
Yes to windows app! I’d like to be able to filter the Men Online by profile data. For example, I’d like to see all the men Near Me who can host.
It would be nice to see the text easily readable. the very light grey text over a light background is very difficult to read.
1- Delete/Hide. When I block a profile, I don’t want that person to see my profile either. Take his profile out of my search and take my profile out of his.
2- Make Mandatory HIV Status.
3- Add option to search based on the other guys preferences, like:
– guys looking for guys from 35-45… That way you won’t contact a guy who is not interested in older guys.
4- add age preference.
5- Also add the option that the other guy won’t be able to see your unlocked pics if he does not unlocked his.
Chat app for online would be great as to save from emailing back and forth endlessly.
Also change the functionality of the blocked feature. If they block you, you should have the ability to send a message and them be notified that a message was sent. I was blocked by a friend that didnt realize that he had done it.
Make a log out button like before. Not hidden in the my profile section.

A4A App Improvements/Requirements
(1) more prominent location for “Logoff” button on Home screen (it shouldn’t be a chore to leave the system)
(2) Require HIV Status for all users
(3) develop a more robust search engine that will allow one to filter down to specific traits (race, height, weight, location, HIV Status, etc.)
(4) allow the user to decide when you’d like to update the location of your device (i use a different profile when i travel for business, i don’t want the location of that profile to ever be near my home, but i like to check it for messages)
(5) i use the BLOCK button sparingly, but it would be nice to be able to flag users who i’ve contacted in the past and would rather not contact them again (i.e., he’s not interested, i’m not interested, etc.)
There is another Richard here so not every comment can be attributed to me so remember that and don’t send me any nasty comments about something I didn’t post how to make the distinction between us I don’t know blog Dave can you help?

Love this site! I travel for work and find myself in different cities al the time.
If I was going from point A to point Z, I’d be AWESOME to “click” the cities of interest or in between A through Z along a route. You already have the city lists just make them clickable, maybe like a “shopping cart”.
All I want is a simple filter for (top,vers, bottom, vers/bttm, oral) on the main filters. That would make things a little easier than wading through all the profiles i’m not physically compatible with.
Personally I think you should stop censoring pictures in the app. Especially if you are logged in.
Neil : we dont censor pics! Apple and Android FORBID 18+ photos. If you want uncensored pics, login to m.adam4adam.com on your web browser or on your desktop
The “block”, “delete”, “report” button should be moved far away from the send button. I’m sure your staff checks ppl who’ve been reported by accident all the time. Give them a break. Move those buttons lower down on the screen. Maybe next to the “next ten messages”button.
Hey blog, btw…thanks for asking for our input. That means something to us.
Also for members who’d love to donate, and expand their accounts be able to accept “pay as you go credit card” (the kind you can buy in a grocery store and add money to) for those of us who don’t need “adam4adam” appearing on a bill for our accountants/wives/husbands/bf to see. I think ppl would feel more relaxed or at ease to buy a c/c at the grocery store and put $$$ on it and pay you guys and just throw it away when they are done. A lot of members are married/closeted on here. Makes good business sense.
First: I understand that X pics aren’t allowed on native apps. But — with that exception — why can’t the user experience be otherwise the same for the mobile site and the app? Maybe instead of a completely different UI for each, they could work the same way with the exception that explicit pics are available on mobile.
For me, Radar is really only worth using for its messaging features. About the only time I launch it is when I get a notification and want to check the content of a new message.
If I’m on my phone and I want to look at profiles, I’ll always use a4a Mobile — and not just because I can see X pics there. It seems to be the only way to read the actual profile text; if there’s a way to do that on Radar, I haven’t figured it out. You see guys saying things all the time in their profiles like, “I don’t know why I bother filling this out since most of you don’t read it anyway.” Maybe that’s because (as far as I can tell) if you’re on the app you *can’t* view it? I get that you can only show so much info over the pic on a Radar profile, but why can’t there be a button there for accessing profile text like there is for other features like “+” (add friend) or “more”?
A4a Mobile may be the best way to browse through members on a phone, but it has its own set of problems. Ticking the “remember me” box on the login page seems to have no effect. And what’s the deal with having to almost always log in twice? Doing it once gets you to your home page, but then when you click on messages, it makes you log in again right away! Sometimes that happens when you click on “Members Online” too. And since the last major iOS update, the username and password fields don’t autofill the way they used to; you now have to click into the password field and then select “autofill password.” Lately, I’ve been getting a “username and password incorrect!” error message after logging in the second time to access the mailbox — but when I scroll down, there’s my inbox, so I really am logged in even though the error message says otherwise.
I agree with John that there ought to be a “discreet mode”. It could have a more innocuous look, with no telltale site colors/logos and pics only on demand, maybe pics that pop up only for a second. That way you could browse profiles and read messages in a public place by viewing only text. Then when you find a profile that might be a match, you could bring up his pics just long enough for a quick look. I’m all about getting free access, but that’s a feature I’d actually pay for — that, and the ability to filter out pro ads when that’s not what I’m looking for.
I have plenty of other suggestions which aren’t strictly concerned with apps/mobile, but unlike a lot of others in this thread I’ll respect your plea to stay on topic. One thing, though: Instead of occasionally asking in the blog for user suggestions, why don’t you incorporate a way to give feedback directly into the site — including the native apps? It seems like this request is only being seen by guys who either regularly read the blog or happen to see a link to it on the main site during the short time that it’s the most recent blog post. And, in this particular case, you’re asking for feedback on improving Radar, but none of the guys who use the app exclusively are even going to see this post — and they’re the ones who are going to give you the best feedback about it.

Secondly on my miniature mobile screen it’d more user friendly of you would stop being a whore to social media and enlarge my screen and shrink your stupid Facebook,Twitter and other links bar. In many ways I truly feel you’ve gone out of your way to fuck up my experience to enhance yours. Could we meet in the middle and have a separate tab for links to places I might want to go to Vs. the current mess? Not to point out the obvious but it’s a small screen to start out with.
Fix the radar.adam4adam.com browser site to show xrated pics. The mobile radar app doesn’t show them i know, but it says under helpsthat via mobile browser radar has X-rated pics, but it doesn’t show them.

Lose the Facebook links. More than once I’ve accidentally hit the Facebook link and all of a sudden a4a is on my feed. Most guys don’t want grandma seeing their cruise site.

Okay, here’s a situation that’s nothing less than a cardinal sin in the mobile era: I spent the afternoon in a different part of town a few miles from my home base in Hollywood. A4A basically insisted I never left Hollywood no matter what I did… EVEN THOUGH I LET IT CONNECT WITH MY GPS WHEN I SIGNED ON. UNACCEPTABLE! If I’m already letting know my location from the outset, I shouldn’t have to do anything or change any settings for the app to know my location.
Give us better search options. Some of the things I’m not looking for still get filtered into my search. Also, when I did a saved search for all Atlanta, I get no results. Howver, if I go city section by city section, I find results…..WHY is there a difference?
can you add the ‘g rated’ option, because it’s nsfw or public spaces for sure!
