A part of me doesn’t want to spoil your weekend with this reply to this, but it has to be said. It’s posts like this that are prime examples of why a lot of people have a hard time accepting gay people. First of all, the fact that we have “gay meccas” like this that should be going the way of the dodo bird is just silly. So you’re gay and you MUST go to ptown for labor day weekend? so then which is it? You want to be segregated or integrated? Why not just go on a normal vacation rather than “scoping out hot guys”. Scoping out hot girls is frowned upon from anyone other than frat boys who have a lot of growing up to do. But no, let’s enhance the gay stereotypes even more and then cry when we’re treated differently. We can pass all of the equality laws we want, but until we stop trying to intentionally stand out and act a hot mess, we won’t be accepted fully by society(not counting the religious nut jobs).

    I’m guessing Pureblance hasn’t been to P-Town.
I lived in Provincetown for three years. From the time I was 18 until I was twenty one. I was Bi curious at the time, and learned about the true joys of gay sex. The openness of P-Town’s gay community allowed me to freely explore my interests, without fear of being frowned upon.

I’ll never regret the time I spent there. And to make it a really memorable experience, I was serving my country saving lives while I was in the Coast Guard. I lived in the sand dunes out at Race Point.

    Go P-Town!
