Travel : Summer Vacations?
Hey guys, today I want to ask you all if you’ll be taking a vacation this summer?! If yes, will you stay in your city or going to travel? Let other members know where and what you are planning on visiting while away and maybe write your username at the end of your comment so that other guys can contact you and maybe get together for a drink …or more!

To a cottage on a secluded lake with close family for a week in July. A great time of hiking, eating, boating, eating, swimming, eating, drinking, etc. Did I mention eating? Also, not much … zero actually… mansex time. But the family time is well worth it.
And I book mansex time with a bud for the first day after vacation. My buds are more than happy to help me out with the burden which builds up during the week of vacation.
I’m going on a week long camping trip in Rockland, Maine in mid-August. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Excited to get away from everything and get drunk with my buds. Looking forward to getting some lobster!

I’m going through a divorce and moving out and coming out. When it’s over, I’m planning a long weekend at either the Worthington or Grand in Ft Lauderdale or Island House in Key West to celebrate coming out of the closet finally at 60. If anyone has been to any of those places, tell which one will be the best for me. Or any other gay resorts in the Caribbean anyone can recommend. Thanks

Im not a travel person. I like to stay at home where I can have peace and quiet. For me the less people there are and the quieter it is is what I like. People can call me dull or no fun but it doesn’t bother me. I’ve always been this way and I like it. I’ve never understood why people think they have to be doing something all the time. More power to the travel people but remember there are alot of people in this world like me. It all depends on what you’ve gone through in your life. People made me this way because of the way I’ve been treated. It makes you want to stay away from people and outside.

To be honest it does me no good at all to let the guys on here know as many Times as I have done so and as many times I have contacted people while traveling I have never been able to get any one to to meet up let alone just chat for more then a word or two I travel a lot for work and I always try to reach out to people in each city I travel to but most the time I just don’t get any replys
Going to Miami for the first time to celebrate my 30th bday July 24-27. I can’t wait…should be fun meeting new people down there

Going to San Juan PR on July from the 9 to 15.
I take advantage, twice a year, to get out of mainstream. I head to my place nestled in the middle-of-nowhere in Tennessee. It’s two weeks in May and September that I am by myself. I enjoy hiking in the many state parks and natural areas, or simply kicking back to enjoy the peace-n-quiet of nature.
If I feel like being around people I can head to Nashville, Knoxville or Chattanooga for a daytrip.
The only things I do not like about vacation is its’ end, and driving home.

Although most of my trips for the summer have been done, I’m going to be visiting Sloatsberg, NY (Rocklin County) June 25-29, SF August 7-9th and San Diego Sept. 18-20. Can’t afford it this year. Next year I’ll resume my pilgrimage to the holy land for dore alley fair.

I don’t travel much. I am spending time with a friend in a town called Bladenboro, NC. It is near Fayetteville and Lumberton, only 90 miles to the beach.

Steve, congratulations on “finally coming out of the closet at 60”. Your courageous act is far more difficult for people in our age bracket (gay men over 40) than for younger people today. We recall, too well, the risk of being open and honest with our sexual orientation. We cleared the path for the younger generation to proudly travel. We can be proud of our accomplishment and contribution to society to accept us as we are!

I’m going on an overland safari from Victoria falls, Zambia through Botswana, ending in Johannesburg, SA. Then going to Cape Town, driving the garden route to port Elizabeth. And finishing up with a stay at a safari lodge in Kruger.
July 1 – 14 I will be on vacation on the outskirt of Lake Placid, NY with just a friend. Getting away from everything and everyone and just plan to be in a quiet space after all the noise in the city.
