Fashion : La Perla Launches A Men’s Collection

LaPerla01

La Perla is an Italian luxury clothing company founded in 1954 specializing in lingerie. Most girls ( and gay men working in fashion ) know this brand for its top quality lingerie with a classic yet very modern design. La Perla is now launching its first men’s collection in Spring 2015 reinterpreting for the men’s sleepwear, fabrics and details usually seen in women’s lingerie. Beautiful kimonos, robes and wide leg bottoms in sumptuous fabric such as silk, cupro and cotton.

Do you wear something while you sleep? Or do you sleep naked? Would you invest in nice sleepwear? I have to say that silk must feel amazing on the skin… I’ll definitely check them out on my next stop at Barneys!

See other pictures of the collection below and let me know your thoughts!

    Oh yes, very sexy……Silk=sexy.
The pajamas are so hot….already have some made of silky polyester, but the real silk deal would be great.

I usually just take off my pants and socks when I get ready for bed (sometimes clothes totally off, but it depends on how hot my body is feeling). During the colder months, I wear some comfy flannel pajama pants and a plain shirt. Nothing to fancy

I’m a working professional, but still … no thanks. No one I sleep with cares what I wear, and the last thing they’re concerned with is the label or country of origin that may be involved. Thanks for the view of how the 1% lives, but I’ll put my income other places that really matter.

Beautiful and swishy,Yuck! And the other silly underwear ads on this site of banana hammocks and underwear with shoulder straps, ugh. If I got a guy’s pants down and he was wearing this shit I swear I would laugh in his fuckin face and leave

These pieces look amazing and so luxurious. This is what a guy like me should be sleeping in instead of calvin klein and ralph lauren. I can’t wait until 2015. and the pics are super sexy the ad campaign is don impeccably definitely sexy and focused towards the gays or peacocks.

I definitely agree with Jonnynct, forget about the clothes if the hairy model is for sale, I keep it for a cold night, even if I have to sweat a lot during summer time, ufff, gorgeous!!!!!
And just for your info, the feeling of silk is exactly as if you get a 600 or up Egyptian cotton sheets at Walmart, and you don’t have to break the piggy bank for that, just a modest suggestion 😉

I typically sleep naked but when I’m traveling, especially if with only a friend I like to take along something nice to sleep in or lounge around the hotel in.
I always enjoy seeing sexy men in sleepwear with the fantasy of undressing him before a long night of passionate sex!

YESSSS… I worked for Wolford corporate offices in NYC “another highend lingerie mannufacturer and the only thing they made for man was socks… excellent socks but they missed out on the undies YES I WILL WEAR UNDERWEAR for men

I have to agree with Hunter0500. I don’t care what a guy wears as long as it’s clean. Just an average guy that likes flannel in the winter.

So how much did A4A get paid for advertising something most of us can’t afford? Rather have a hot story to read. Let’s move on.

    • blog

hot2trottt: nobody got paid. Why every time I talk about something else than sex, some guys think we get paid. And even if we got paid… How do you think A4A makes its money? From God? Falling from trees, come on man….
We make our money with sponsors of course. People who believe our website is nice and worth advertising on, yes!

OMG I love the campaign..clearly aimed at the gays. And yes some of us will definitely be buying. Silk does feel amazing on the skin. I doubt the luxury lines demographic are men that dont know the brand. This is awesome.

  12. muzyqman

Just how expensive will this new line be?
    Slightly overpriced?
    Somewhat overpriced?
    Moderately overpriced?
    Majorly overpriced?
    Stupendously overpriced?
Take out a loan to buy a pair of briefs overpriced?

Everyone of us can afford something nice such as PJ’s with a designer tag on them if we budget instead of spending our money in a bar or on some stupid drug or party favor. Treat yourself with the dignity and respect you deserve…..straight men, gay men….all men enjoy a MAN who pampers himself with fine things once in awhile. Why is everyone always so Negative?

  14. hmm

You can get fantastic high quality sleepwear that’s super comfortable on amazon for a fraction. I LOVE spending money on clothing and name brands but its just sleepwear.

  15. headsupguy

About .05% of A4A’s members will be able to afford these items without noticing any impact on their monthly budget. Another 2.5% of A4A’s members would buy these things at a cost of making their (rent, car, utility) payments late. Whether you can afford this stuff or not, nobody should make this kind of purchase without first asking yourself what you have contributed to slow the spread of ebola in Africa, how much you have given to end malaria in Third World countries, or what you’ve done to eliminate child hunger in your own country, be it the U.S., Canada or elsewhere. Have you sent support to a shelter that houses gay young men who’ve been thrown out of their homes because they’re gay?

The problem with this kind of post is that it encourages and perpetuates the stereotype that all gay men are shallow, self-indulgent and financially irresponsible. How about posting material that affirms most of us who do look out for others less fortunate than ourselves?

Southernguy : Honey this is their first ever collection for men. Pre-Spring and resort collections (part of spring) is already online, yes.
Thanks for trying to help me out.

A couple of hundred dollar self-indulgence on pajamas is a vast improvement over “spending our money in a bar or on some stupid drug or party favor”???
