Nick Jonas is a singer – popular with younger girls and younger gays – I heard one of his song while driving in my car this week and it was the first time I actually heard him. I knew his name of course because he’s been around for a bit (with his brothers) but his music is simply not my thing.
Last week, the 22 years old revealed a spread in Flaunt magazine where he surely grabbed gay men’s attention, after exposing, crotch, butt, abs and all the rest. Is he building a gay fan base?

Either he or his managers are smart for marketing him the way that they are, because hays will take just about anyone. I think his music is just okay from what I’ve heard, not bad but nothing particularly memorable. He’s a good looking kid, in good shape. I think people are mostly excited because seeing him in a provocative way is a bit unexpected considering how most people knew him for years. I think his appearance is overhyped. But that’s the case with most celebrities. So often when a celeb is seen shirtless people freak out over their body and talk about how great it is, the only criteria being that they not be fat. He has a good body, but by no means a great one. Most guys his age can pull that off with minimal time in the gym. Something about his whole gay pandering thing seems a little desperate on both ends.
