Photography : Todd Sanfield By Kevin McDermott – Virgin Island
Last weekend, I was in NYC to visit friends and also to shoot with different photographers for my own portfolio. I had appointments with some of my favourite photographers in the Big Apple including Kevin McDermott. Kevin is an amazing talented man who captures beauty with lot’s of class. His work is very elegant, sophisticated yet very sexy.
Few years ago, Kevin made a book in collaboration with Model Todd Sanfield, MOTEL | HOTEL. Following the success of their sold-out first collaboration, Kevin and Todd bring us VIRGIN ISLAND. One day, dawn to dusk, alone on a tropical Caribbean island, VIRGIN ISLAND is Todd’s escape from the hustle of MOTEL | HOTEL. The incredible locations become the ideal backdrops for the dream getaway. The results are lush and decadent; an erotically-charged adventure within the island’s natural beauty.
I saw the photos when I met Kevin in his studio and let me tell you that it is truly one of the nicest photography book I have ever seen. The images are colourful, sexy and gorgeous and Todd is absolutefuckingly stunning! Yeah I got a hardon. But frankly there’s lots of models that hot or hotter. I was expecting more. I mean good stuff but nothing to stop the world from spinning like the pitch had me expecting. In fact his face is rather average.
Also, does the book show dick? What an annoying tease if not. And in the vid, I’d say way too much hand over cock. I find that a very weak and unattractive posture. It reeks of shame and weakness and not flattering.
