Watch This : Marriage Proposal At Home Depot

Guess who’s crying again? I just saw this video and I can’t help the tears from falling.

Dustin was brought to a Home Depot to help his friend to pick up some lighting for a party, when he was suddenly brought to an isle where all his friends and family was waiting for him.

They were all dancing on “Somebody Loves You” by Betty Who when Spencer (the husband) came out with the small velvet box.

Dustin accepted (of course)!

Soooo cute! Congrats to both of them!

tears from falling? really? it just looks like I stumbled in to an aerobics class. Now I know why Salt Lake City is not known as the dance capital of the world…… That said, congrats to the happy couple…

Why does the gay people need to make a big production out of a proposal these days, I thought such a thing was more on a small intimate exchange. I wonder if the divorces will be as big of a production?

Anyone else notice how an audience had gathered to see what the commotion was about & disburse when they realized a man was proposing to another man?

My husband of 28 years and I watched this yesterday and I had the same reaction- tears. I’ve been thinking about how wonderful this video makes me feel and reminds me of our wedding in Oct 2008 during the “window” before Prop 8 was overturned. All great memories. We wish this couple all the happiness we have had over the last 28 years. Congrats!!

I HAVE BEEN GAY ALL MY LIFE, AND I AS A GAY MAN DO NOT THINK THIS MARRIAGE THING, THAT THE GAY PEOPLE OF OUR NATION FEEL WHY IT IS SO DAM IMPORTANT, TO HAVE THE RIGHT TO GET MARRIED? WHO CARES, TO ME IT IS A JOKE. I FEEL YOU ARE JUST MAKING FOOLS OUT OF YOURSELVES BY ACTING OUT SO STRONGLY ABOUT THIS TOPIC, WHEN WE AS GAY PEOPLE HAVE WAY TO MANY OTHER ISSUES, THAT DO NOT SEEM TO MATTER, IN WHICH WE NEED TO RESOLVE. THE MARRIAGE THING IS A JOKE!!!! NO WONDER THE STRAIGHT PEOPLE ARE SO AGAINST US??? HELLO!!!!!!!!!

I’ve seen this reposted on Facebook about 10 times now.

Personally I’m tired of all the Flash Mob type videos for whatever purpose, it’s getting rather old.

Whatever happened to nice personal, spontaneous proposals? That you don’t have to post online for everyone to see?

Why are people being so negative? He knows his husband better than us, and therefore the proposal probably shows how they love each other.
To all the self hating gays against marriage, there is a financial side to marriage. Stop being asses.

Until I saw that video I never thought I’d want to marry another man, now I want to find a guy who moves me to want to spend my whole life with. All the best guys!!!

Personally, I hate flash mobs and I’m glad that fad is over. It’s all “look at me/us and your reactions.” And for a proposal, it puts a lot of added pressure on the one being proposed to say “yes.” Hope their wedding and marriage work out for them in any case.

I have watched this several times on Facebook and shed tears every time….I had a partner for more than 20 years before his death in 2003 and now have another for almost 7 years. I feel strongly that people should be FREE to LOVE whomever they choose. My current partner and I plan to marry as soon as we are able….there are circumstances in place right now that prevent it. Congratulations to these two gentlemen and I wish them much happiness!!!

Shawn, I hope he was taking a picture not calling someone lol. Great vid and hope they stay happy together for ever. I love the flash mobs. Maybe not for me but looks like they loved it and they are the ones that matter not us.

why is it always an “attractive” couple
nothing more then actors doing it for attention
not every gay couple is 2 “attractive” guys

what a great way for a kick in the balls! why do people haft to post this? other guys like myself always seem to not get a guy like that. and it fucking sucks to see two cute guys fall in love when guys like myself will probably end up alone because guys cant decide to stay committed to someone! so fuck you for posting this!!!!!

  14. John...

There are plenty of gay guys who are willing to and can commit. They’re just not the superficial kind many gay guys have been brainwashed into believing they need to have in order to live a happy life. If your tastes are superficial then so will be your life.

This is just standard propoganda the “Community” likes to see and promote in which gays are shown to be young, urban, trendy, good-looking, happy-go-lucky guys who love female music artists and love to expose their drama in public. The “Community” is not so community-oriented toward gay guys who are not so young or urban or trenty or good-looking or happy-go-lucky who listen a variety of music and live their lives out of the spot light and out of the public eye. Some are seeking partners. Some live in long established relationships that are known, recognized and supported by family, friends, and co-workers. But the “Community” contiues to beat its brand drum “we here! We’re queer! We DON’T care what you are! But, oh, yes, we’re entitled to the equality. And we’ll have unprotected anonymous sex but it’s just so unfair and unjust that we get sexually transmitted diseases.” Society has moved forward when it comes to gays. There’s still a ways to go, of course. Sooner or later maybe the “Community” will move forward as well.

Lets pretend were just like the str8 idiots. lets get married, get pissed off, divorce. Marry again. All to music. Only difference is gays make it into a big gay musical.

Wow this is a beautiful thing here. Some of you have got some real issues. To turn this into something ugly is just as deplorable as the political incorectness you guys are screaming this alludes to…
I have a new goal in life; to never sound as bitter and angry as some of you guys here.

I could choose to be bitter and jaded too. But I don’t. Profit from my example.
