“Ooh La La” , a new Britney Spears song was released yesterday and is now available on iTunes. It is from the soundtrack of Smurf2.
Bonnie McKee wrote the song while Luke, Martin and Cirkut co produced it. It is very “easy” and catchy… The lyrics are kinda simple, but the beat is great, perfect for the hot season! I think young folks will love it!

I love Britney but this song seems a bit disjointed. The chorus and the verses sound like they could be from the same song but the bridge sounds like it was meant for a completely different song. Not her best.

I’ve followed Britney since the beginning and consider myself a big fan. But this song is just awful. It sounds like four completely different unfinished demo songs got spliced together in a hurry to create something new. No. Just no. And I wish she would go back to singing in her real voice instead of this nasally thing she’s had going on for a while. You’ve done better, Brit.
This Is not a representation of the new era. Spears lend her vocals Strictly for a kids movie. The song does what it was meant to do, it’s catchy, easy, and fun.
While I am a fan of Ms. Spears, this is not a song I would blast in my car.
Era 8 will be better, I’m sure.

It’s Britney, and in my opinion the idea of Britney is FAR better than the reality of Britney. I do call myself a fan, but she hasn’t really given me anything “great” in years. This song is just another cash cow from the pop machine so it will probably do well and make her and other plenty of money as well as promote the movie.
Personally I miss when Britney was backing up her “pop princess” sobriquet by slaying on stage, now she just seems like she’s always in rehearsal walking through it. How I miss when Brit used to sweat and kill herself to give you a show….

Sounds like for a kids movie. I don’t really mind Brittney Spears and not fanatic, her music is okay, but I don’t like that fact that her voice sounds like it went through a computer. I’d rather hear her voice naturally.
