Gay Stuff : Male Celebrities with Sexy Voices

I have a weakness for guys with a sexy voice. And while our opinions may differ as to who has the sexiest voice we’ve ever heard, I think we can all agree there’s something about an attractive voice that we find irresistible. On top of that, hearing them speak makes us go all weak at the knees. They don’t have to speak sweet nothings in our ear, just hearing the sound of their voice from across the room (and okay, even on television in the case of our favorite actors) is enough.

Not only that, these studies conducted by Collins & Missing, 2003; Saxton, Caryl, & Roberts, 2006 as cited by Psychology Today, say that people with “appealing voices” are perceived to “have more attractive faces.” In addition, they are seen to have more pleasing personalities, too (Zuckerman, Miyake, & Hodgins, 1991). The downside however, at least according to the study conducted by Gallup & Frederick (2010), is that they are “more likely to be sexually unfaithful,” and that they “tend to have sex earlier and to have more sex partners overall.” They concluded that people with attractive voices “make better short-term rather than long-term partners.”

Based on your own experience, would you say you agree to these studies?

Having said that, the celebrities who I think have sexy voices are Christ Hemsworth, the late Alan Rickman, Paul Bettany, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Noriaki Sugiyama. I’m fairly confident you all know the first four, the last one—Noriaki Sugiyama, a Japanese voice actor (seiyuu)—is very popular among anime fans (particularly in Naruto where he is the seiyuu for Sasuke Uchiha) and among video game players.
