How safe is cock docking exactly?
In the same report, Canadian AIDS Society said that in theory, the risk for HIV transmission is high with docking but that at the time there was no “documented cases of HIV infection attributed to docking.” The report was made in 2004 though so the statistics must have changed over time. It also said that the transmission is made possible through the “entry of semen into the urethra” and through retention of pre-cum or semen under the foreskin of the uncut partner. Moreover, their report cautioned that “the risk of HIV transmission for uncircumcised men is higher than for circumcised men.” Of course, apart from HIV there is a risk for transmission of other STDs such as herpes and HPV among others.
