Survey: Lights On or Off?

Hi, guys! We have a question for you: do you prefer to have sex with lights on or off? Why or why not?
We asked because results of a study conducted by researchers in University of Siena in Italy showed that the sex life of men who lack interest in sex can be greatly improved through exposure to bright light. The researchers gathered 38 men who were diagnosed with “hypoactive sexual desire disorder or sexual arousal disorder.” Both disorders are marked by the absence or lack of sexual arousal and lack of interest in sexual activity.
Anyway, the participants were exposed to bright light and at the end of the experiment they were found to not only have increased testosterone levels but also greater sexual satisfaction. In any case, men currently in a sexually unsatisfying relationship or guys who have no interest in sex but want to improve their sex life may want to try this route.
Anyway, back to the original question: lights on or off?
Personally, it depends on the mood. One cannot defer having sex during the day just because there is daylight nor would I get up to turn the lights on when the desire to have sex struck at midnight. I mean, wouldn’t the mood get ruined if I get up just to switch the lights on? (Or off, if you sleep with it on). It’s not like I can say, “Wait! Let me turn the lights on first.” More than that, lighting is the last thing on my mind when I want to have sex but that’s me. However, if I do have a choice, I’d say dim light is downright romantic because it allows me to see his facial expressions. How about you? I agree, it depends on the mood and dimmer light is definitely more romantic! But, I do want to be able to see my man and his body while we make love… it’s part of the turn on for me
In general, lights on or off is inconsequential for me. Neither way will make or break sexual experiences on an ongoing basis.
I do enjoy when on an overnight with a bud, initiating sex (even if it’s as simple as a silent hand job or blow job for him) in the dark during the night.
