Watch: Volleyball Players Settle Dispute With a Kiss
When it comes to sports, it’s understandable when things get a little heated. Everyone’s pumped up with adrenaline and buzzing with the spirit of competition, so when tempers flare and punches are thrown, it’s not surprising.
What’s surprising is when all that sporty pushing and shoving ends up in kissing. But that’s exactly what happened at the Japan Volleyball League’s All-Star Game. Twenty-four-year-old chaser Yu Yamamoto and 26-year-old Takuya Takamatsu are the two volleyball stars involved in a video that’s recently gone viral.
Yamamoto and Takamatsu’s argument begins because of an argument between the two on who should take responsibility for a foul. Takamatsu shoves first, and then goes under the net to confront Yamamoto. The pushing and shoving becomes more intense, until Takamatsu leans closer and the two of them kiss.
The kiss drew an enthusiastic response from the audience, which is not surprising considering the popularity of yaoi (Boys’ Love) fiction in Japan. Other outlets also report that the pair have already done this before. Watch the video of what happened below.

Japan is an old and beautiful civilization that has managed to successfully adopt Western science and technology while preserving its INTRINSIC originality. We CANNOT judge the behavior of the two Japanese volleyball players based on what the puritanical American society dictates. That is what the proponents of the forced cultural globalization want to do around the world.
To the two Japanese volleyball players I say: “you go boys”!
