Music : Celine Dion’s Full Song for Beauty and the Beast

You all know that I’m in LOVE with Celine Dion, and I think even more since I met her at her restaurant last summer. And what about that dress she wore at the Premiere? (Photo above) OMG, so gorgeous! In 1991, Celine recorded the iconic duet Beauty and the Beast ballad with singer Peabo Bryson. Twenty-six years later, she’s lending her voice to the live-action remake, too. This time she’s taking on a new original track called, How Does a Moment Last Forever.

“Beauty and the Beast had brought me to where I am today,” Dion told Entertainment Tonight. Although she says it’s a “privilege” to sing for the Disney film again, she was on the fence about it at first but after seeing the movie, she decided to sing it.

Thanks to her work on the animated version of Beauty and the Beast back in 1991, Dion’s duet with Peabo Bryson for the films’ theme helped the animated film take home both the Academy Award and the Golden Globe for Best Original Score, also winning Best Original Song at the Globes for the track.
