Hi, guys! I’m curious as to who among us here loves playing video games. Do you play Final Fantasy? November 29, 2016 marks the worldwide release of Final Fantasy XV, the latest installment of the Final Fantasy series. For those who are not familiar, Final Fantasy XV is an action role-playing video game developed by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Watch its official trailer below.
As I write this article, I am at the store, waiting to get served so I can finally get my copy I preordered seven months prior. The queue which apparently started at 11AM is long (it’s 3:30PM at the time of writing); it reaches way past the door of the store. I knew I should have listened and gotten the digital version instead.
Final Fantasy XV is being marketed as “A Final Fantasy for fans and first-timers” so if you haven’t tried the franchise yet, now is a good time to do so. Not only is the game epic in every way, it is also filled with bromance. We’ve listed seven ways Final Fantasy XV is your ultimate bromance. Read on but be warned of possible spoilers.
- That road trip Noctis (the main protagonist) had with Gladio (short for Gladiolus), Prompto, and Ignis.
There was just something in the way the group ate together, slept together, and bonded together that screamed bromance. Was it the way Prompto took their pictures, or the way Ignis cooked for them? Maybe it’s how the four of them went stargazing when they camped out for the night. I guess you really should see for yourself. You be the judge.
2. Final Fantasy XV’s theme song: Stand by me which you can view below.
3. Wanting to befriend Noctis, Prompto went to great lengths. He decided to lose weight by dieting, jogging, and taking pictures of himself which took months, maybe even years. When he finally managed to shed his excess weight, only then did he approach Noctis again. Check out Prompto with Gladios below.
4. The way Prompto would stare at Noctis from a distance when they were not friends yet. Yep, these two have plenty of fanfiction courtesy of fans which you can read here.
5. How Ignis would cater to Noctis. Generally, he looks after Noctis’s well-being and checks out if Noctis is doing his tasks: princely duties, schoolwork, training, etc. He also looks out after Noctis’s diet and he bakes for Noctis. Check out Ignis below as he drove their party during their road trip.
6. The guys met Cindy, a sexy mechanic, and yet not one of them took a second look. Okay so Prompto did look but he doesn’t count. *grins* Just kidding.
7. How the guys protect each other and watch each other’s backs.
I’m done with the article but I’m still one and a half yards away from the counter and yet our line is as long as from when I arrived. It’s as if we never moved at all. But the fans had waited for ten years so what’s another hour?
Anyway, what do you think guys? Is there really a bromance in Final Fantasy XV or did I just imagine it? Also, do you play video games? What are your favorites and why? Please don’t hesitate to share with us and comment below.
Happy playing!
i have loved video games mostly rpgs since super Nintendo have love final fantasy since ff3 im getting this game later today. i love most rpgs their the bet for story and long game play. i hope u do more articles on games. do u know any rpgs with gay characters ?
A4A is probably the last place I would see talking about FFXV, but as a gamer I welcome it. Haven’t really found a gay guy around my area that’s as into games as I am. I got my copy pf FFXV last friday but since I was out of town until yestersay evening, I am barely getting to play it now.
The Elder Scrolls series is hands down my favorite right next to Final Fantasy. Most RPG’s are fine by my to be honest haha
