Movie : James Franco in Porn Drama “King Cobra”
Fans of the upcoming crime drama film King Cobra, the long wait is over! Well, almost. The movie is set to hit the movie theaters next month, October 21, 2016 and the first official trailer has been released yesterday. Take a look below.
King Cobra is based on the story of Brent Corrigan—Sean Paul Lockhart in real life—his meteoric rise to stardom in the porn industry and how two producers who would stop at nothing had aspired to sign Brent up on their own studio. Even at the cost of someone else’s life.
The movie runs for 91 minutes and it stars James Franco as Joe and Keegan Allen as Harlow while Christian Slater plays Stephen (Bryan Kocis’ character). Garrett Clayton on the other hand, plays the role of Brent Corrigan/Sean Paul Lockhart. They are joined by Alicia Silverstone and Molly Ringwald in this Justin Kelly film.
King Cobra had been well-received in the film festival circuit earlier this year. It was screened in Tribeca Film Festival in New York last April 16 and in Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival last July 16.
It has been reported that Brent was approached to take part in King Cobra but that he had declined the offer. He took to twitter to answer his fans’ questions regarding this matter and he said, “I have no interest in playing myself in any movie. I’m myself everyday :-)”

Further, he elaborated, “I declined all offers/requests to be a part of their movie. You’ll see why when you see the film.”

When asked about how Brent feels regarding Garrett Clayton playing his character, he replied, “I was 17-21 in the years the screenplay spans. I looked much younger. He doesn’t embody Brian’s preference for not legal boys.”

The actor is starved-looking, which Brent never was. Promoting an unhealthy body image to gay men is a sure way to cause disease. I tried watching the movie about Linda Lovelace, but it was creepy, though she was, herself. It’s bad enough we watch so much porn, movies should not be made about it.
I totally agree, this movie is a complete waste of time.
It’ll be interesting to see how gay porn plays in the mainstream.
I cannot wait to see this movie. . . . a big step for many in making this story come to life, and again it is a movie and I hope it tells the story well. Thanks for all who maked it!
will go see it , but only Brent know how close it is to the truth it is
James Franco should just come out. For a guy that implies he’s straight, he plays a lot of gay characters.
