Doctor Mike was seen wearing a pink tutu over at Instagram. A few days earlier, he was seen stopping and performing breast exams to random male joggers in Central Park.
The twenty-six-year-old then took to Instagram where he has two million followers to invite everyone to join him for a 5k race/walk at Central Park last Saturday, September 10th for the Susan G. Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure. The event, he explained, aims to raise breast cancer awareness and at the same time raise funds for the foundation. Seventy five percent of the proceeds will go to breast cancer patients and their respective families in the New York community while the remaining twenty five percent goes to the national research to fund the search for the cure.
He also emphasized in the video’s caption that yes, both men and dogs can get breast cancer, too. Said video had gone viral and had since garnered 257, 968 views as of this writing. Check it out below if you’re curious.
Doctor Mike, or Mikhail Varshavski, is currently a third-year medical resident in New York City aiming for board certification in family medicine. He leads a very busy life—juggling medicine and his hectic social life. From time to time he is seen attending various speaking engagements, Fashion Week parties, and dating Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
It’s no secret he lost his mother to cancer but this is not the first time he’s rallied people together for a cause. In 2013, he shaved his head for St. Baldrick’s children’s cancer organization. And then early this year, he founded Limitless Tomorrow to aid deserving students with financial struggles by raising $91,682—a feat he achieved through raffling off a chance to date him. A $10 donation earned donors a chance to win a flight to New York, hotel accommodations, and a date with Doctor Mike in a fancy Michelin star restaurant.
It’s easy to see why people would want to date him. He has a charming smile, he’s a doctor, not to mention he is beautifully confident with a heart. If all of the above fails, I’m pretty sure his sexy Instagram posts won’t.
The sentiment is shared by People magazine and named him the “Sexiest Doctor Alive” last year.

He is alright cute but just goofy not a huge turn on for me plus he is. Very pretty I mean the guy is very handsome indeed but I don’t know. He is just not my type good he is doing this for Breast Cancer Awareness…

I understand this man is very handsome and is doing service for the common good…and, I highly respect that. What concerns me here is the fact that we as Gay men point out only the Handsome or “Hot” ones around us. Should we not be uplifting and bringing recognition to our own Gay members to this site? Perhaps just ordinary men who happen to be “Hot” for their own actions, and not looks, and leave the Lust out of the picture…?
Maybe a great smile, nice eyes, great, hair or facial hair or KIND profile(as there seem to be so many angry ones on here). Just a thought, women have been complaining of this type of stereo typing behavior for a long time…are we doing the same to our male counterparts?
There are more common diseases than breast cancer, that get no publicity or fund-raising promotion, like that by this self-serving asshole. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and also Fibromyalgia, common among gay men and women, get no support, and gay men who have it are truly ignored by both the straight and gay communities. So do something about it, Adam4Adam.
And, yes, straight guys do not deserve our attention.
