Music : Brian Justin Crum Covers Adele & Cher
Brian Justin Crum wowed the judges of America’s Got Talent last week. The openly gay man went viral on social media after his performance of “Somebody to Love” on AGT. Mel B even said she had a crush on him at the end of the performance ” If I wasn’t married and you were straight, we would be in love” she said. Simon Cowell who is usually the toughest of judges also said he had an “amazing talent” and that he “should grab this opportunity”!
Well Brian Justin grabbed his opportunity this week when he uploaded this amazing mash-up of “Believe” from Cher, and “All I Ask” from Adele. Listen to it below and grab the tissue!
ooh, look at the marketable pretty white guy!
what’s wrong with it? Do you need to be ugly or of color to dream of having a career in music now?
It’s comments like that which fuel the fires. Why not focus more on breaking down those barriers and making love and peace, and not war.
hey Mike it’s too bad you made it a black-white thing I think he has a wonderful voice btw he is a pretty looking white guy has an amazing voice and it’s representing the gay community
Nice voice but heard better
yes of course, it’s not Whitney or Celine but still good!
HUh?
What works is if you have real talent. Being a real singer is a lot harder, because of how the music industry is today. All Of the music seems to be reletative, and sounds alike. He made the song fresh by slowing it down, and putting emotion in his delivery. There’s nothing ugly, or of color about him.
and yet again there is no video link…..
I really hate this new blog
Nothing works in it
Furthermore, None of the comment boxes are labeled,
so you don’t know where to type a comment,
nor your name, nor your email, etc.
the video is right under. Everything works perfectly.
Maybe your computer is the problem, or your browser.
Cher and Adele? How stereotypical. Maybe next time some Broadway tunes.
Wow, an openly gay man who can sing like this? Thanks for bringing his sexuality into the discussion….without knowing this Id have felt him to be an above-average singer, yes, but identiifying him as openly gay does elevate his talent level exponentially. Well done
Caught his AGT performance of Radiohead’s “Creep”. His singing and the emotion he brought to the performance were exceptional. He let everyone know how tormenting, painful, and difficult it is to be gay or different today.
I wish I was special
You’re so fuckin’ special
But I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don’t belong here.
I don’t care if it hurts
I wanna have control
I wanna a perfect body
I wanna a perfect soul.
I agree, it was amazing!
It was frustrating to watch a guy who has overcome weight issues, who has phenomenal looks, who has great musical talent, and a supporting family mire himself in hopeless/helpless victim mode. Hopefully, future performances will more positive and shossnwhat all focus on triumph instead of tragedy.
Yeah but that’s AGT. I know the producer and this it why it is so popular. People want to see that.
Funny, then, how AGT has so many other contestants who have overcome challenges but the show doesn’t have them wallow. It has them show how far above those challenges that have risen.
With that voice, I could care less about his color or sexual orientation. The guy performed beautifully and have listened to several of his cover songs and they are all amazing.Good luck Brian, i for one will be watching and voting for you each week. A shame really that haters are always going to hate and that’s a huge problem for this community and our country.
