Travel : Beautiful Chicago By Eric Hines
This timelapse video of Chicago took photographer Eric Hines 2 years to film. It captures the city in a unique way from new perspectives. The sequences in this video were all shot with a Canon 5D Mark III and the music is “Signaling Through the Flames” by ‘The American Dollar’.
I have to admit that this video really makes me want to visit Chicago. I’ve never been but many friends told me it is a beautiful and fun city. It looks beautiful for sure!
Have you guys ever been? Are you from there? Chicago is one of the cities where we have the most members. So shout out to everyone in Chicago!

Great video! That would make anyone who has never been there want to visit! I grew up near there and still visit on occasion. You really should go there sometime, Dave!
Haven’t watched the video yet but know I will like it. Chicago was my favorite city to visit on business. The view from the IBM building down the river was stunning. The boat ride on the lake at dusk, just as the city lights were coming on, was unforgettable. The public transportation is user-friendly. On one trip my aunt and I went to her favorite Italian restaurant in the suburbs. It was super and although I ended up walking back from the train to the hotel around 11 PM, I never felt at risk. A good friend just got back from being a tourist for a week in Chicago. Her 120 photos made me envious. Hat tip to one of America’s greatest cities.
My Name is Jason and I was Born in the Windy City of Chicago. Thank you so much for sharing this Awesome Video. It made my Day. Now Back to the Gay Man Sex Talk blogs and Video’s. Woo Hoo!!!
I live just south of Chicago and it is one of the best cities in the country and the world. The people are friendly, the skyline is great and there is so much to do all year-round! If you haven’t visited please come visit our little corner of paradise we call Sweet Home Chicago!!
From Chicago, born and raised. I love the downtown area, worked there for 4 years. It is beautiful. What was shown is actually a very small portion of the city. It may not have meant to show more, but there is so much beauty throughout the city that is not generated by bright lights.
I have visited there several times. It truly is a beautiful city. The architecture of the skyline is awesome.
Chicago holds many memories for me — deep-dish pizza, tours of Frank Lloyd Wright-designed buildings, theatre events. But my greatest memory is of the unbelievably luscious Chicago 20-something black guy with the 11-inch cock — thick as a beer can — who fucked me in my hotel room. Biggest cock I’ve ever been fucked by, and I took it balls deep. Wish I knew how to get hold of him again!
Being born and raised on the southside of Chicago…I really enjoyed the video of Downtown, the skyline during the seasons, the lakefront all were great for those who have never visited …Now show the real Chi-Raq/Chi-Town…It’s not as pretty… There’s more than the “Loop” we do have the southside & westside…..
In 1981 I was transferred from NYC to Chicago by the bank that I worked for. Lived there until 2009.
I agree with you that Chicago is visually an interesting city bit would not call it beautiful….San Francisco is beautiful, Rio de Janiero is beautiful…
Chicago has a very dark side, heavily segregated, gangs and very little opportunity for the underclass to advance…it is a city for the rich…and the poor remain so. The projects are gone but the people who lived in them are still there and still the underclass….
Thanks for your balancing perspectives re Chicago Dennis. As a black educated professional, after completing grad school, I got job offers in Chicago and Philadelphia. It was one of the toughest choices, but I chose Philadelphia for all the reasons you stated. There’s no questioning, it’s still a wonderful city!
