Entertainment : Back to Westeros and Game of Thrones!
March, It’s finally March!!!!!
Oh excuse me. I’m just a tad bit excited as I’m sure a large number of other people are about the return to Westeros as HBO gears up another season that will thrill, chill and rip your heart out of their award winning masterpiece series, Game of Thrones.
For those of you who haven’t been made aware of the amazingness that is Game of Thrones, you need to stop what you’re doing and go get yourself addicted to it. Based on a popular series of fantasy books knows as “A song of Fire and Ice” has had its’ author George R. R. Martin hailed as “The American Tolkien”.
The show starts you out in a simple feeling world, much like a medieval time of our own and then slowly adds elements of magic through the season. If you loved Lord of the Rings, you’re gonna love this. The show follows seven noble houses all interwed and bred and dealing with the realities of being “One Kingdom” as opposed to the Seven they were just 20 years before the show. Touching bases with appearances of dragons, the undead and more there is someone for everyone to love in this show.
Oh and did I mention it was on HBO? Well it is, so that means one undeniable thing is also in this show. SEX. And not just your run of the mill average stuff. There are cameo’s of every legal type of implied sexuality on this show, guaranteed to make anyone at least pay attention.
So maybe it may not exactly be YOUR type of show at first, but that gaymer guy you know at work or school? Well he might be head over heels with it……. A simple conversation and you’ve got tons to talk about and even longer to curl up on the couch together.
You’ll “Hear me ROAR” as I watch the 31st but if words can’t move you, how about some sexy men featured on the show.
Kit Harrington – Jon Snow / Alfie Allen Playing Theon Grayjoy / Richard Madden – Rob Stark
Aidan Gillen -Petyr “Little Finger” Baelish
Lain Glen – Ser Jorah Mormont
Conleth Hill – Lord Varys
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau : Jamie Lannister
John Bradley – Samwell Tarley
Kristian Nairn – Horod
Charles Dance – Tywin Lannister
Peter Dinkle – Tyrion Lannister
Joe Dempsie – Gendry
Jason Momoa – Kahl Drogo
Stephen Dillane – Stannis Baratheon
Finn Jones – Loras Tyrell / Gethin Anthony – Renly Baratheon
Mark Addy – Robert Baratheon
Drake aka Crayak on A4A
Some good things will happen this season, along with some bad things (I’ve read the books)! No spoilers tho 🙂
I do wish the Author would finish the book series in this decade, he’s rather slow with the rest of the books. He’s no JRR Tolkein (although he resembles a hobbit), but it is entertaining.
Kahl Drogo and John Snow anytime, anyplace!!!
The series is called “A Song of Ice and Fire,” and the seven kingdoms have been united for well over 300 years since the time of Aegon the Conquer.
Hodor, not Horod 😉
There’s just nothing more rewarding than living life through the happiness and sorrow of ficticious people.
@Hunter0500
little digging around in the comment sections and it’s easy to see you find it rewarding to troll people. get a life or find a book, maybe one with pictures.

The top 2 are sexy sexy though
@Slavina
Excellent idea! When someone watches TV, they don’t have to read. And pictures are plentiful. Reading a book stimulates the brain in many better ways.
Numerous studies over decades have brought a negative light on the effects of hours of TV viewing. Not one has yet to find that it to gives profound benefits over reading and interacting emotionally and physically with actual live humans. Ever notice that TV viewers have blank empty looks on their faces for most of the program?
I’m on my fourth book of the year. I read one with someone close to me, too. That was great. We paced our way through it and discussed it as well.
Get a book? Excellent idea!
(and yes, if a book has illistrations that’s ok.)
